Pros +
- The room was absolutely amazing: spacious, tastefully decorated, the balcony was also amazing with the jacuzzi perfectly placed...I appreciated the bathroom layout and the live plants in the room...Probably the nicest place I've stayed at...
- Friendly staff
- We really enjoyed the quietness of this boutique hotel. The rooftop offers an amazing view, the food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful all the time from reception to the butler service and restaurant. Special thanks to Julio, Ann, Nicanor, Rodrigo, Lorena, and honestly everyone on the team for making the stay so memorable.
Cons -
- The food was not that great and it was really really expensive. More expensive than California which is saying a lot. The quality wasn't there, especially if we are essentially wanting to eat at the place we are staying...
- The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. If you like to walk through a neighborhood and stop at some restaurant or so, this is the absolute worse place to be in Playa del Carmen. 2 of 3 hotel restaurants appeared to be closed when we were there, also a very limited menu selection. We left the hotel as soon as we could.
- If I may suggest a few improvements: it would be great if the entrance to the hotel could be paved, as the road nearby is quite bumpy. Also, during our stay it was seaweed season, which made swimming difficult, we often had to walk to find a clear spot near other hotels. Perhaps bringing in a machine to clear the seaweed, rather than doing it manually, could make the beach experience even better.

The views were beautiful! The rooms were nice and clean. The aesthetic of hotel was really nice and the staff was very helpful, welcoming and friendly.
Location is kind of hidden but not a bad thing unless you want to do things in playa del carmen or other places.
In summary, our stay was wonderful! Julio and the team gave us a very warm welcome and were always available for questions and requests. The room was very spacious and had a spectacular view of the beach club and the ocean. The beach club had many trees that provided shade to chill during the day on the chairs and in the pool. The pool at the rooftop did not have shade, but that was fine during the afternoon. The breakfast was excellent, as was the food in general.
The location a bit outside Playa del Carmen is both a blessing and a curse. It gave jungle vibes and made the location more difficult to reach. Be sure to book a taxi via either app "RadioTaxi PDC" or "InDrive”.
We were the on our honeymoon money. The staff are really friendly. The rooms are large and spacious. The hotel and rooms are really clean.
The hotel is far from the city center, each taxi we took cost us 400 pesos per direction. I really recommend to have a car with you. The beach part of the hotel is rocky, therefore it’s hard to get in and enjoy the water. My wife had a massage there which turned out to be awful, shed had pain in her neck for one week after it.
The hotel is new and looks very fresh. Interior of the room, furniture and design is according to the modern trends, very comfortable and appealing. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I liked breathtaking infinity swimming pool on the roof, the view and the interior is phenomenal.
The beach was terrible and not accessible at all due to rocky bottom and a lot of seaweeds which nobody even cared to clean.
Everything, what is there to not like.. very courteous staff, well lit and amazing rooms.Great beach area, and the service to the guests are amazing
I cannot point out anything
I've traveled the world, and this hidden gem is one of my absolute favorites. The staff at this location is second to none. The General Manger, Serman has Always gone above and beyond.Julio, I believe is the front desk manager, and they have always made sure we were taken care of in every possible way. Ann, and the rest of the staff, made sure we had everything from the proper apps to order out, late night, to coordinating any and everything that we needed. 10 out of 10, every single stay!
Bedroom was very nice, spacious, nice modern design, great AC.
Beach is rocky and water is not accessible in front of the hotel without water shoes. Have to walk further on the beach to access water in front of another resort that is extremely crowded. The hotel is very understaffed compared to its size. Only one person to check in guests and show them to their room so if you arrive at peak check in time, you will have to wait. No staff to help carry the bags from the car parking to the hotel lobby. Restaurants have a limited menu and the burger meat was clearly a frozen patty and much more expensive than any of the great Mexican food you can get if you get away from the hotel zone. The pool is in a shady area and feels line an after thought, not really where you would want to hang out. The rooftop pool is beautiful but there are very few chairs - none of which were ever free when I was hoping to use the rooftop pool. It is also not allowed for children to access the rooftop pool - even for my 13 and 15 year old well behaved children.
Great serviceGreat room for a family of 4
Location isnt ideal, no restaurants near by.
Very relaxing atmosphere, in a quiet and calm place. The infinity pool is beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Breakfast was great too.
Location - if you are planning to be in Playa del Carmen area must of your time, you will have to pay a lot for taxi rides. In addition it is a bit annoying that the seats near the pool must be reserved (probably in extra charge)
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this 5-star boutique hotel in Playa del Carmen. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the personalized service and attention to detail. The staff made us feel like VIPs, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The hotel itself is stunning—chic, elegant, and perfectly located. The spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated rooms offer a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The amenities are top-notch, and the pool area is an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the vibrant town. The restaurant menu is short, and the food tastes amazing. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. We also loved the intimate, boutique atmosphere. Unlike large resorts, this hotel offered a peaceful, personalized experience that made our stay feel extra special. The massage service is unforgettable. If you're looking for a luxury getaway in Playa del Carmen, this is the place to stay! We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return!
For us, the pool was too shaded, without sun, but heated. :) Uncovering the pool from the palm trees would be enough to give it a beautiful sunny exposure.
Lovely place, beautiful views and looks so clean.the food is really good and they are very accommodating to different food choices when it came to specific requests
Very attentive staff. Nice big room. Clean throughout.
The view was lovely, the beach has tidepools that we spent hours looking at, the pools were nice, I loved the hammocks, and the food was decent, also in a good location/ near towns so you can go to the store, I had a great time, found so many cool things, and got to take my boyfriend to the beach for the first time!
Every morning when we woke up the room was covered floor to ceiling in condensation, i have no idea why. We didn't keep it that cold? The mirrors were unusable cause they were fogged up, and the floor legitimately felt like someone just mopped, but not clean. It was actually really yucky. They need a dehumidifier bad, or in a few years there is sure to be mold. That is my only complaint, so to the hotel! Yall really need to check that out, I think it would probably be an easy fix (and worth it in the long run) to just put dehumidifiers in the rooms
Stunning roof top pool, large rooms and amazing staff. The breakfast that was included was above and beyond.
I loved the options for the 2 pools the beach pool was warm which was very nice considering that we stayed there during winter . The rooftop bar and restaurant offer great drinks and the food was good , big portions tho. Their massage spot was overlooking the ocean and the massage was the best I had during my trip.
Breakfast could be better and offering healthier options. The tea was very basic . And the morning juices were not prepared in house .
Beautiful rooms, very comfortable and clean.Breakfasts were very good.
Location - nowhere to walk except the beach. Taxi ride if you want to go into Playa del Carmen.Food - only Roof restaurant open in evening- limited menu, no specials/dish of day. After 5 nights, ran out of dishes I fancied. Also there seemed to be issues with oven, so some dishes were not available. Other items were ‘unavailable’ - drinking straws! Try drinking a slushy pina colada without one! Also must be the only restaurant in Mexico with no Mescal.
The hotel is small and everything is close to room. Not crowded. The facility is really nice, clean and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful whatever you need.
