Stains on almost all of the towels, blankets, and pillow cases

It was a great location, close to shopping, restaurants and I felt safe walking around since I was traveling alone.

Bad

Sheets and towels in the room where dirty, all of them had stains. We changed 5 rooms and all of them had dirty sheets and towels. The receptionist told us he doesn't have clean towels. Curtains were broken. Very bad experience with the hotel.

Great location, just off main 5th Av, but quiet for sleeping.

Had to hand over 60dollar refundable deposit on arrival. Was not told when booking. Just be aware

The property is in the right place if you want to be on 5th Ave without BEING 5th Ave. Walking Distance to everything.

No bar at the Pool.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Maybe 3 star only. Wifi is poor. Staff could be much more polite. The most important. After room service my backpack was definitely searched for valued staff. Gladly I did not left anything in the room. At booking we choose pay later. Still hotel charged us same minute we made a reservation. It is mentioned that check in is at 15:00.Day before check in I sent a message with request to check in earlier, as we arrive one hour earlier. I received message, that yes, if room will be ready we can check in. We arrived at 14:30. At check in desk staff told us that check in is from 15:00. She never asked our reservation or surname to check if room is ready. Even when I told that I messaged property and discussed that matter. When it was 14:56 she took her reservations, where all was arranged together with keys. So room was ready time we arrived, she just on purpose didnt wanted to check in us earlier.

Location, beds

The noise. Cleaning already at 6/7 in the morning in other rooms. Screaming in the hallways, pushing around furniture. Almost no night rest. Also the pool and rooftop are not like on the photos. Bad maintenance of the pool and the terrace was not available to take a seat, what looked like a rooftop with bar and pool was not like that.

The staff was very friendly. Our rooms were cleaned very nicely. We were near many very good restaurants, cafes and shops. We felt safe walking the pedestrian shopping street.

A refridgerator in the room would have been helpful.

Very nice staff and beautiful clean rooms!

Some guests were a bit loud. I got woken up a couple of times during my sleep but the staff was nice and reactive and went to talk to the guests.

Rooftop should open earlier for guests to watch the sunrise.

Love the location of this hotel. My only complaint is the walls are paper thin and if others are loud you will hear it. Lovely room, hot shower, bed was ok.

Everything exceeded our expectations

So I was originally in an Airbnb but it was in a really REALLY noisy location so decided to move - went to the hotel to check out the surroundings - originally had a balcony room on the 1st floor but being noise sensitive was too much traffic noise for me and upgraded to a room at the back with kitchen - no view but it was quite (apart from the lift) and great to have fridge and kitchen so worth the money - its a small boutique hotel with not much in the way of facilities but in a short walk you have everything ! What is OUTSTANDING about this place is the staff. They are so so friendly and helpful and always happy to chat and have a laugh! Definitely my go to place in PDC now !

the spacious rooms, balcony, staff were very friendly, the pool, nice sunset, great TVs with Netflix etc

I was just relaxing but if you wanted to be close to town it might be a little far!

Passable

Bedroom windows look out onto a brick wall, so there is no day light. Lack of 'don't disturb' door hangers, so housekeepers wake you up every day. One morning, when I was sleeping a guy from the cleaning service entered the room to check if I left a tip on the night stand. He forgot to turned off the light. That was rude

Clean

We had seen a different room on the photos on booking.com. When we arrived, our room was directly facing the building next door so there was no sunlight.

We spent 6 days at this hotel after our friends recommended it. The hotel was nice, the staff was amazing, and very accommodating to us. We came with our 20 month old baby and requesting a fridge in the room on arrival just to keep his snacks and fruits cold. They brought us a fridge at no extra charge which was nice of them. The only thing I would say about the hotel is the noise from the buildings around it. The area is a little more local so at night you get a lot of noise from the dogs barking. You are also about 100 feet from 5th avenue and there is one bar that plays music until about midnight which wasnt too bad. Its not the hotels fault there are dogs that bark, so cant give the hotel a bad review for that. The room was cleaned everyday and it was always done by noon which was nice. And it was always spotless. We took a room with a balcony just so we could relax and have a drink while the little one had his naps but I would highly recommend it because the balconies are a good size.

The property is beautiful and quaint. The rooftop pool was a great end to each day.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable.
