Riu Yucatan - All Inclusive

It was beautiful. Beach was not far. Usually a chair available for it being the busy season. Lots of pool room. It was the nicest place we have stayed at in all of our trips. Our room was between the main lobby and the pools/ocean which was perfect.

It was a bit far from the airport. Only 1 store for souvenirs.

Excellent location, friendly staff, large spacious comfortable rooms with mini bar (all included), large swimming pools with direct access to the beach, the food and drink options were very good, they also had various activities throughout the day if one is interested.

The food menu was repetitive across all the restaurants, perhaps including more international varieties.There was no manual option to control or switch off the AC unit, unless you either keep the door open or shut down the main power switch. With changing weather and temperature, we wanted to switch off the AC but there was no option to do that and we felt a bit sick due to that.

Great beach, great food.

Air conditioning doesn’t cool rooms.

The hotel is in a good location close to the main parks. Food was fair. Access to the beach from the hotel. Staff was friendly! Front desk took care of a few situations we encountered. For instance, they offered a shower curtain for privacy, not ideal but it helped.

The hotel needs their rooms remodel asap. The lobby appearance does not match the rooms. Too small. The furniture old. This hotel does no justice to other Riu hotels. Upon arrival, one of our rooms smelled like fresh paint. During our first shower both rooms had the showers clogged. The showers have no privacy It's a open room. Also, one of the showers run out of shampoo on the second day. This resort looks like a seniors only.

It was a beachfront property.

The food was horrible and some items were stolen from the room.

Everything was very clean and organized, the from desk team are very capable.

The food was barely elaborated and with no variety, without any good flavor at all.All the bars close early The pools are dirty and with broken parts,no maintenance

Our waiters at the Steakhouse Restaurant Luis and Fidel were the best ever!Such excellent service, they were super attentive, and knew everything about the menu!One of the best dinners we've ever had...thank you Luis and Fidel!

There were some issues with the card readers to the front door of our hotel room. Reception and Maintenance stopped by several times, but they said they did not have the parts needed to replace it. Other than that, everything else was good.

Staff was excellent, serving with professionalism and respect...Food was adequate and good

The resort and rooms are outdated and older; would recommend Riu Palace or Riu Tequila

Excellent beach, nice variety of food and drinks, wild animals in the garden.

Rooms furniture is more like maximum 4 stars in European standards.

very nice beach and it felt safe in the hotel zone.

we needed to change 3 times the room in a 3 night stay and it always needed a lot of talking to the staff like no room left, have to ask supervisor, etc.one day we had for 3 hours no room and last room was I don't know a punishment or something. it was directly next to the huge heat changer from next hotel and the losing docks so one truck after another.rooms all had troubles, broken AC, broken flush from toilet, broken socket, noisy fridge, leaking toilet, broken shelf, mini bar was still with used bottels, they didn't restock cosmetics,and so one.
