Camano Island Inn

The hotel was closed for renovations and still accepted my reservation and I lever received notification they were closed, so I drove 6hrs to check in only to not have a place to stay once I got there. This was unacceptable!

The view

Dirty floors and carpet. No staff but gratuity envelopes were out. Breakfast was minimal continental and was suppose to be a buffet. Maintenance is badly needed on windows, outside doors, screens. Price was not commensurate with experience.

I had room 7 which is the best room. Lovely bathtub, fireplace, and separate entrance to communal deck. Beautiful view. Really friendly staff. Cell service not that great, but not a big deal. Highly recommend looking on their site for accurate pictures of the rooms as I found the ones on this booking site mixed up.

I used the jets in the tub and there was lots of sediment. There is no breakfast included. Right after you confirm and pay for booking, they send a message telling you there's no breakfast onsite and tell you where to eat instead. They should change that in their description, but that would probably make them less desirable. They try to make up for it with granola bars and pretzels.

I liked the establishment and next to the water. I also had access to a refrigerator.

I didn’t have hot water for three days. No shower! I was the only person staying, my whole duration. An employee and his guest, used the hot tub in the room next door, and then left? Why is that? Now the hot tub is dirty, for the next people who rent the room. Gross.I was told by Booking.com, that the owner was reimbursing me for my inconvenience, and I have yet, been given my credit, by either Booking or the Inn. I will update my review, as soon as they resolve their promise to me.

The property’s location is magical…beautiful . It was overlooking the bay with waters coming from the Puget Sound.

There was no air conditioner considering it was summer. The room was well appointed but it was too warm.

Our room (#1) has a beautiful view: comfortable bed, clean, and quiet. Minutes away from nice restaurants.

What a hidden gem on an amazing island that more people should know about. Peaceful, quiet, clean comfortable, with free sunsets!

The only thing I didn't like was that my family couldn't travel with me on this trip - they would have loved it here!

Location, room, serenity, space, view, common spaces, garden, private beach, friendly host. Lovely place to visit.

No AC (but* we could open our space, air it out and use the beautiful open, comfy deck while the room was cooling down, so it was comfortable to sleep). . A small fridge could be handy in the room. Was looking forward to a spa experience. It may be communicated clearer that the SPA is not functioning when booking. The closure of the bistro may also be communicated a bit clearer online. Other than that, we had a pleasant time.

The inn is charming and the location is idyllic. The property manager Charlene was amazing. So helpful, and even took extra time to ensure the room was spotless. It’s clear that while it’s glory days are behind it, the inn is doing its best to provide a relaxing and comfortable stay. Very hands-off with door codes for entry, but that worked for me. Would definitely recommend to a similar person.

It could use some sprucing up. The room price is steep considering the deferred maintenance issues.

We loved our view. The room was very basic, but it was nice. The Inn Keeper was amazing!

There was no breakfast but we liked the coffee. The view was excellent. We saw one person that helped register us early.

The facility needs much painting, updating, etc inside the building. The outside areas and the view were very good.The upkeep outside needs some work but we did like sitting outside.

Location

The inn has seen better days in terms of a resort property. The room that I had was uncomfortably hot, and there was no hot water in my room. It took several minutes for the get the water to get slightly warm enough to tolerate a very quick shower.I found out the inn was used as an adult care center at one point and that would explain the appearance of the shower in the room. The addition of a small refrigerator and an ice machine would go a long way in making this room more comfortable for your guests.

hot water needs to be working. with hot water working all marks I gave would be 10. OR, get the bistro operating. bacon, eggs and hashbrowns and toast in the morning and I'd even not care about the hot water.

Very dirty room, plugged sink, hot tub didn't work, kitchen was under construction so there was no food, no AC so the rooms were pretty hot.

the room did not look like the web site picture. sparse furniture- nowhere to put clothing,lukewarm water, no staff on site for the 2 days. I felt unsafe- I was the only person staying there. Breakfast was an envelope of oatmeal. grounds were in bad shape. Spiders in room. No hangars in closet very small TV. The Inn as advertised does not exist. I chose the room with 4 poster bed and jet tub when I booked. Bed was King size but had no spread so box springs in full view. Worst experience I have ever had. I would require compensation for the high cost over $400.00. Not sure I can trust your descriptions again.

-We had a small outdoor patio (see picture).-Ice maker, snacks, and the few breakfast items were ok.-The upstairs balcony, exterior, and grounds are beautiful! (Our room was downstairs. Room 3.)-Bed was comfortable. Bedding was soft.-Charmaine (the only staff we ever saw) was pleasant and tried to accommodate our needs.

-The website NEEDS updating. Correct pictures of what's offered in each room and list of amenities is way off.-No robes provided.-Could still smell new paint.-Room was dusty with outdated furniture. Needs refreshing. Needs repair! -Bushes obstructed our view of water.-No staff for checking in or out/payment. We got there at 8:30. No receipt provided.-No kitchen, so no meals.- Didn't know which rooms came with a fireplace. We didn't have one. -Very poor security.-Only one microwave for everyone to share. -Bad coffee and "continental breakfast" was lacking.
