Hotel Bogotá Regency Usaquén

The quietness of the hotel. We slept very well. The breakfast is very good.

The room was very outdated. On the pictures you get a whole other impression of the room. When entering we where a bit disappointed but the good nights of sleep and great breakfast made up for the disappointed. The staff of the Front Desk and restaurant are also very friendly.

The internet and the computers in the lobby were out of order for the duration of my stay. I wanted to check on my correspondence/email but was no possible due to the broken/out of order computers.

Estreme noise(no double glazed windows) poor room arrangement, after confirmation 1 month before (i asked if the restaurant would be open) i was desmayed to see that the restaurant was closed and no room service(had to go out to cold bogota night to find something to eat). Terrible bathroom. There was a window in the shower that was replaces by a tin square, allowing cold and noise to pass freely. No lining in the trash cans, extreemely poor choice of complementary coffeee and tea, with no china, but 1 paper cup to serve.

The location is great, very close to some of the nicest malls in Bogotá, and the area is safe.

The property is old, and the facilities, especially the bathrooms, are very outdated. However, the biggest issue for me was that the hotel restaurant/bar was closed during the middle of high season (Christmas week) due to low occupancy. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was the convenience of being able to go downstairs for dinner or order room service after a long day out. Unfortunately, the restaurant remained closed for my entire stay, which was very disappointing.

Breakfast was good and the servers were attentive.

Horrible noise from the traffic on two main avenues , not sound proof windows. The hotel needs an update. The receptionist at 10 pm when we arrived wasn't friendly, he just wanted to charge me the VAT without checking my migration stamp and my other passport. Will not book there again. We moved to a different hotel in a quiet area for the same price the next day to be able to sleep.

It was my 5th time and every room I stayed in had a problem with the curtain!They are extremely hard to open and or close.The mechanism should be either changed or oiled

The location was excellent — very safe and convenient. Everything was within walking distance: restaurants, cafés, shops, a bank, and an ATM. It’s also very close to Dr. Jorge Espinoza’s clinic (facial plastic surgeon and ENT specialist). The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good.

Street is a little bit noisy and it is weird that you have to go out, enter another building to take breakfast

Staff was excellent, breakfast buffet good with every day changes to menu, quiet, close to everything in many areas such as clinics, hospitals, restaurants. They call up taxis for you and exchange money at front desk.

The T.V needs to be updated as it is very old and picture is fuzzy and you cant add Netflix from your phone. They should add washcloths to the bathroom. They need to label on the website that after the 9th floor there are stairs going up to the executive suites.

Location, space in the room, cleanliness

No room service, restaurant or bar service past 20:30. Not being able to freely charge to the room, no mini bar, fridge, snacks in the room. No water bottles in the room as courtesy. Coffee maker but no water, sugar, cream, filters.

This is an older hotel that has not been updated. Rooms are big but not updated. Staff is nice and accomodating - I needed to change my room several times...no problem. Shower and bed are great. Food is not great. Location is very good.

Restaurant I know from the past is low level but there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Staff were able to accommodate a request for a quiet room. It's a very busy street and there is traffic noise all night long. The breakfasts are ample and varied with good service by staff. We really appreciated the noon check out time.

This hotel requires updating. When we stayed a week previously, we were in a Junior suite. This stay we were in a standard twin which could use some updating and renovation. The windows did not insulate well from the traffic noise. If someone drives to visit you even if they're only there 20 min, they have to pay for parking.

The door at the entrance of my room was sliding and was damaged, it was impossible to close it without having to force myself, I have recently had breast surgery and it was two terrible days dealing with that door, I requested a room change and they refused, I explained to them that I just had a surgery and they didn't care, after so many requests they finally changed me, but I decided to move to another hotel the next day.

All amnmehities were available . I found all I needed.

Good distribution of the rooms and comfortable beds.

Good sized room, location to social area of Usuquen. Tomato soup from the onsite restaurant was amazing!

Building right next to a busy road interchange but having no soundproofing is just incredible!

Good location. Close to medical facilities

The executive suite was tired and the carpet was dusty and dirty. The standard rooms are a better option.

Excellent attention by the hotel staff. Front desk was kindenough to order breakfast boxes to go because we couldn’t have breakfast.As others have reported, the breakfast buffet is quite varied and replenished. Rooms facing Calle 7 are very noisy due to the traffic on the major street.

The hotel could use updating, such as a paint job in rooms, chairs and sofa in the Junior suite would benefit from having new foam filling. The curtains are huge and you really need to haul on the curtain pulls to open and close.
