Sofitel Bogota Victoria Regia

The breakfast was excellent and varied. The hotel is also in a central, safe location and close to many restaurants and shopping areas. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, and I could not hear other guest or noise outside.

I found the beds to be uncomfortable with no support. I didn't sleep well and woke up in pain. The pipe covering in the shower kept falling. The tv cable connection kept disconnecting. The bedroom walls were scuffed and dirty.

Location, very central, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great service, bed super comfy. Nice decor, no complaints.

At check in they kept asking us to pay additional charges and at check out they added another service charge. They felt scammy!

This is not a five-star hotel in reality. When emailed and messaged about airport pickup there was no response. When we checked in there was no help with our luggage. When we checked out we requested an airport drop off but it was late and they told us to call an uber instead if we needed to be on time. No help whatsoever with our luggage ever. Might as well have stayed at a 2-star.

The location is second to none, the staff service was absolutely impeccable, the rooms were clean, comfortable and in perfect condition! I would 100% recommend this hotel

Everything was perfect

From the moment you enter the hotel the staff welcomes you and works hard to meet your requests. The concierge provided the best recommendations when it came to dinning and shopping, as well as, tourist spots to visit. We contracted a driver and limo through the hotel for our five day stay, and it was the best decision we made. Rafael, our driver, showed us the city and took us to the Salt Cathedral, about an hour north of Bogota, a must see attraction. The breakfast buffet is impressive, with lots of hot and cold choices.

The room temperature at night got a little hot, but nothing unbearable.

during a temporary shutdown of the restaurant, another room was used to accomodate clients. This room was very small and not suitable as a restaurant. The food I ordered came cold and not of the usual quality of Sofitel. The restaurant has since resumed operations in its original premises and i am pretty sure service is back to usual, ie excellent.

Great location, safe area and good to walk to bars and restaurants. The room was nice but a little dated eg dark furniture etc. friendly and helpful staff.

I think was expensive - priced varied quite a lot by night with Monday being 100$ more then Friday - Sunday nights!

The staff were amazing Nothing was any trouble to them They had a good knowledge of the local area and recommended some amazing places to visit. Spa was the best really enjoyed our massage. The concierge was the standout arranging everything with no problem and made it very easy as his English was very good.

I dont think there was anything i could say was bad apart from the fact our visit was to short

the hotel is in a really good and safe area with many restaurants and shops. The room is quite spacious and comfortable, comfortable bed. Breakfast is good, each morning a different selection of local fruits and cold snacks. it was possible to leave the luggage in storage until the evening after check-out

What we didn't like - since you had to order hot food for breakfast you had to wait quite a long time for the order to be accepted and the hot dish (omelette, etc.) to be brought. You also had to wait for coffee or hot water tea. the breakfast manager was quite an arrogant woman

The hotel is extremely confortable, customer service is outstanding and the restaurant provides an excellent breakfast and a great lunch and dinner menu . We love the hotel most specially for the level of care and professionalism of each and every employee

Amazing stay on one of the best (i.e. safest) streets in Bogota. Very attentive staff, lovely atmophere and great breakfast. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. The hotel staff also helped us with airport transfers (they have their own driver) as well as custom tours, which was very welcome.

We arrived 6am in the morning and they charged us a full night stay. We challenged and they halved the rate (this was an uncomfortable dialogue to have). Considering the going rate per night at the property we were given a room with an extremely noisy fridge (as well as outside on the street and neighbours) meaning the sleep was not great. The pillows could use replacing. In addition the coffee and tea was not replenished appropriately each day of our stay. They also only gave one robe and shoes per room.
