The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect. The decor was beautiful. Great lacation.

the property is beautiful. Our room was excellent. We left too early for breakfast and they gave us a lunch to go. The location is great. Close to the city center with great food and shopping and architecture.

Extremely friendly staff, beautiful facilities and an amazing room. Also very short walk from the center. Really relaxed and chill vibe at the hotel. Highly recommend.

The pillows and mattresses are old and uncomfortable. The receptionist was not friendly

Excellent location, friendly, professional, and helpful staff. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and our room was clean. The housekeeping staff consistently did a thorough job of cleaning, and were very detail oriented. We both have back problems, but the mattress on our bed was very comfortable.

Only complaint was that several times we had little to no hot water in the shower.

Location close to Santiago mercado, walking distance to ADO, Oxxo nearby too. Breakfast is amazing too. Staff so kind.

Its my 2nd time to stay here, and it's a lovely property, would stay again. The only suggestion I have is to have coffee available in lobby a little earlier? And keep in mind bathrooms in some rooms are upstairs...so if you have to use the bathroom a bit more these days, its a bit more exercise ?

Our stay at the Viva Mérida Hotel was wonderful. The location is perfect for exploring the city's vibrant center, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. The real standout, however, was the exceptional breakfast—a delicious and abundant spread of local and traditional options that truly started our days right. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We felt genuinely welcomed and would absolutely return. A fantastic choice in Mérida!

Friendly & professional staff, excellent service. Clean & comfortable accommodations. Good amenities like the gym & pool. Close proximity to restaurants and stores.

The room was comfortable, but the stairs to my room and the loft were steep, so if one isn't steady on their feet they should specifically ask to not stay in the loft.

Honestly, everything was great. The room felt like a little oasis—super clean, really spacious, and that bed was like sleeping on a cloud. We looked forward to the breakfast every single morning. So many delicious choices, especially all the local fruits and pastries. And the location was perfect for us. It was quiet at night but just a quick, easy stroll to all the energy and history of the main square.

Hmm, that's a tough one! I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel here, but maybe that the pool was a little cooler and smaller than we expected? But that didn't stop us from enjoying it!

Great service and staff! The cleaning staff was incredible, even folding cloth! Location is 2 blocks from the main plaza. The breakfast was nice and balance.

Loved the beautiful decor and traditional feel of the hotel. Had a great breakfast experience, although very European consisting of fruit, juice, coffee, pastries, toast & jam; no protein. Bed was comfortable. Great location for walking.

Bed pillows were quite hard & too large for comfort; had to use decorative smaller pillow to avoid neck issues. Wasn’t aware up front that bathroom was upstairs in the room, so a little issue for knee problems. They should make that clear in their room description.

A really charming hotel and good value. The rooms were clean with air con and ceiling fan, all around a pretty central courtyard. We needed to do laundry, and although the hotel doesn't offer this service directly, they were able to get our stuff washed (2 bags) quickly for a very good price! Also if you are dashing off early to see ruins, they can give you a breakfast for you to take, which was nice. We rented a car, and parked in one of their allocated spots near the hotel. The parking cost wasn't included, but was very reasonable.

Ceiling fans were a bit noisy.
