Ya'ax Hotel Boutique

Beautiful hotel. Very clean, comfortable bed with great quality sheets. Shower was amazing. Very new and impeccable decoration. Staff was super nice and helpful. I definitely recommend it!

Garage is in a separate location.

Staff needs training. It felt like every time I asked a (simple) question (where is breakfast?) I was met with a "deer in headlights" reaction, so much so that I decided not to ask about day trips or restaurant recommendations. My expectations for a 4-star or higher hotel might be high, but if you're going to show me to my room, offer to take my luggage. Yes, I want my room cleaned, it's part of what I'm paying for. If I'm standing at the front door trying to figure out which way to walk on a Google map, ask me where I'm trying to go and guide me in the right direction instead of just staring at me. It's the details that take a hotel from good to excellent, and that's what's missing. The foundation is there, the extras aren't.

Mold on food (e.g. repetedly berries at breakfast), a/c unit not serviced in a long time (smell of mold once turned on), safe in room broken, dirty/stained towels, low water pressure (especially troublesome for long hair), generally good idea regarding design but clearly getting up in years, ubication (close to the city center but not in the city center as expected!) - all that for a quite high price comparinh to MX standards!

A really lovely boutique spot with such excellent hospitality and peaceful ambiance. The breakfast chef serves some incredible dishes - probably the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had - and I’ve had many!

Service is fabulous. We got stomach issue after a tour. The manager had the chef tailored food for us for three meals in two days to make sure we are ok. When learned that we had an early flight, they packed coffee and bread for us on the road. Great experiences!

There is no gym given it’s a boutique hotel. We wouldn’t need it anyway as we toured outside the whole day.

The staff was amazing and the whole place was gorgeous. It was very clean, the breakfast options were great and the location was very central and the hotel has parking spots within a public parking just a minute away from the property. We absolutely loved our stay.

The breakfast was excellent. Every item was nicely prepared and saved. The waiting staff was very attentive. And the staff more generally was highly responsive to our needs, regarding room facilities, directions to places of interest, etc.

The lighting inside the two bedrooms could have been better. The lighting in the bathroom of room no.4 needs to have been brighter. Also, the hotel should provide a few more towels, particularly wash cloths i.e. face towels, in addition to bath towels and hand towels.

Everything. The hotel, the alberca, breakfast, staff, and the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

They treated me like a queen. I am a vegan and do not eat cow products. They worked with me to make a delicious dinner with a fantastic salad, potatoes on the side with guacamole and chips.

If your friends are staying at a nearby hotel and you need to meet at Yaax hotel with your friends they wont allow them to come in , the staff made our life difficult and gave us very hard time. Their wifi was down completely during our stay was impossible to contact our friends. The general manager was a kind lady who tried to help after all the hard time the staff gave us.

Stunning boutique hotel. We chose it for the parking, which is a block away. Short walking distance to the main square/s, so lovely and peaceful. I think we were the only ones there, so had the whole place to ourselves. 4 course breakfast was ample.

It lacked a little atmosphere for me personally, as there wasn't much around. Maybe different breakfast options daily would be nice.

The location is good, but could be better - a bit of empty, dark streets during the evening. Breakfast could be better; make it more simple. Clean the pool.
