There was no elevator and a lot of stairs.

The location and friendliness of the staff
The room was not clean, the water in the shower was barely coming, there was dust everywhere.
We enjoyed our stay because it was close to all the events and places I wanted to visit, such as book stores, town plaza, museums, and la procesión de las Animas during Día de los muertos. Donaldo and Beyamin went out of their way to help us with our traveling planes.
The lobby seemed to gloomy. It would be nice if they had more light and cozy furniture in their atrium area.
Location, close proximity to restaurants, shops, public plazas.
The hotel lost water pressure and didn't get it fixed in a timely manner. Pump failures.
Location, location, location. Short walk to the city's main park, shopping, open market. Talk about ambience! Now, this isn't a new hotel, but it's comfy and close to everything in the downtown area. Don't expect modern, but do expect comfort. The swimming pool makes for a fun or relaxing time! There's an attached coffee shop you can get pastries or full breakfast. Excursion vans pick you up in front of the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.
To get to rooms, you need to walk up stairs.
Poor
Dated, weathered, didn't match up to photos at all - takes about 10 mins to get hot water
The location was great. The staff was friendly.
The plumbing has SO MANY ISSUES!!! The first room they gave us had no water pressure, so we requested to change rooms. On the second room the shower head came off one night. There was no water one afternoon. The floors at the rooms were not very clean. The parking is two blocks away and we still had to pay some. The towels had holes in them.
The location was good, several places of interest around like church, main square, restaurants, etc. The rooms were spacious.
The bathroom had a strong moldy and musty smell. The towels were old and in poor condition, and the beds had noticeable sagging spots where you would sink. The pillows were small, cheap, and worn out. The shower pressure was so weak that it was difficult to properly rinse off.The staff was unhelpful and had a bad attitude. They initially refused to accept our credit cards and didn’t allow us to leave our kids and belongings in the room while we went to an ATM—only for the card machine to work without any issues in the end.Additionally, the hotel does not own the garage, and you need a validation ticket. The garage staff was unfriendly, and the hotel failed to check the number of nights I stayed, leading to unnecessary charges for nights that should have been covered.
Great location. Lobby area peaceful and very pretty with large greenery.
Room was small and basic. Lacked surfaces for placing luggage/belongings.
Nice lobby, very convenient location, very good maid service
The water supply. Water was sporadic. The hot water... wasn't. I wouldn't even call it lukewarm. On my departure day, after having soaped up, the water simply stopped... not a drop for 10 - 15 minutes. Also, there is a terrible odor from the drains, both the sink and the shower; they had to be completely covered up.
All the facilities were comfortable and suitable to their intended use. The location could not have been better in Centro. Room was spacious and comfortable. AC was great and the availability of hot water in a tropical climate was an added bonus.
It would have been nice to have had in-room refrigeration for my snacks, etc. Also, it would have been nice to have had a safe in the room to store my passport and other valuables when I left. Of course, I never had reason to question the honesty or integrity of those working in the hotel.
The hotel is on the main street. It is within walking distance from the main square, restaurants, and shops.
The rooms were small. One room had no windows. Directions for parking (which is on a different street) were not very clear.
The accommodation is good overall. I liked the service. They were very helpful and polite!
I didn't like the hairdryer. It only worked on the lowest speed, which barely dried my hair, and the device was locked to prevent increasing the airspeed.
The location was fantastic. Very conveniently located near the town center and tons of activities.
The room was small, the door didn't open all the way because it hit the bed. There were many bugs in the bathroom and shower.
Great central location, very nice rooms in an old building. Great staff. Highly recommend it. Oh, and very affordable.
The staff were wonderful, very polite, very helpful, and accomodate any requests we had. The room and facilities were very clean! The Márago Café is wonderful, great food, super tasty and well done.
The room was clean but we had to ask for a lamp, only had overhead lighting. The shower was clean but the bathroom floor got wet, maybe a shower curtain would've have helped.
I recently stayed at a hotel in Mérida and was thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Zócalo and the main square, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and included arranging taxi services for us. Overall, this hotel offers a prime location and attentive service, making it a great choice for anyone visiting Mérida.
The hotel is a beautiful building in a very beautiful convenient location. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Although the swimming pool is not very big but it was good enough and very refreshing.
The shower in the bathroom could do a bit of updating. Prone to flood a little bit.
