Boutique hotel very quiet only 9 rooms.

Breakfast was just ok. Butter old no jam When hot the only thing air conditioned was the room. Rest was very hot.

Historical monumental hotel, with huge rooms, big jacuzzi in huge toilet. Everything King size, nearby to centre of the city. Helpful courteous staff make you feel like a king

Breakfast was average, with white bread toast. Portion was small, less choice. They should improve the breakfast choices & portions

It was wonderful and beautiful and great location

While I was sitting on the patio outside my room eating breakfast or having a drink the mosquitoes were eating me alive. The sprays provided didn't do any justice. The mosquitoes got into my room as well. The staff tried. I give them credit. The mosquitoes didn't bother me throughout the trip but only in the hotel. I feel it was the beautiful garden in front of my room.

The gorgeous architecture, classic decor, large spacious rooms, attention to detail ( so many nice amenities in the room), everything on the menu is delicious, staff is delightful, cheerful, helpful

Nothing not to like

The breakfast was delicious and always served.The servers are marvellous .The location was so relaxing - lovely to watch the birds in the gorgeous bird bath .The staff throughout the Casa Azul were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

We both found the room abit too dark .And abit cluttered with extra “ stuff” in keeping with the relocation of a home 150 yrs ago . For example. , there was limited room on the desk top .

Breakfast was wonderful--Raoul, our waiter, was exceptional!Also, the quiet, relaxing courtyard was so lovely!

The menus were limited; however, we were able to ask for special requests.

It’s essentially a beautiful and special museum with a few very attentive staff, including David, who provided outstanding service. The panes dulces at breakfast were amazing!! The cute little pool was nice.

Uncomfortable in general. The pillows were terrible and there were no comfortable places to sit, either in the room or in common areas. There were no common areas that were air conditioned. There wasn’t enough light in my room or bathroom. Dark and gloomy. Also, not a full service property—dinner has to be ordered 24 hours in advance.

Casa Azul is in an amazing, walkable location. The design of the hotel is beautiful, traditional, and refined. We felt very safe during our stay and the hotel staff members were friendly and accommodating. We loved our breakfast with fresh grapefruit juice every morning. The gym is simple but very nice too.

There were a couple maintenance + wi-fi issues in our room, but the hotel staff members were helpful in resolving them. The bed was a bit soft for us, but the pillows and sheets were great.

The hotel was beautifully appointed. Service was amazing - the best of any hotel I’ve stayed at. We loved breakfast each morning. Location was central.

The only thing we didn’t love about our particular room was that the bathroom was only separated from sleeping area by a half wall and curtain.

Casa Azul is one of the most beautiful hotels i have ever been to. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. We had a wonderful time.

Nothing, it was perfect

Magnificant room and the staff was very helpful and personable.

There was no restaurant that served dinner-I had to walk a distance to the nearest restaurant.

The building, garden, the breakfast, the friendly staff. Good Internet, comfortable beds. Location is perfect, walking distance to restaurants, museums, the market and places of interest

Casa Azul really made us feel we are at home. Very peaceful and quiet. The staff were very nice and kind. Always helpful. We had the biggest room in the property and it was really nice with a big bathroom and well designed room.

Because of covid you have to inform the reception earlier if you would like to have lunch or dinner at the property.

The hotel is magnificent. The service is very qualitative. Nothing to say, we really enjoyed our stay. Special mention to the breakfast which was excellent and in good quantity.

We cannot say enough positive things about this property, location and especially the staff. Everyone was absolutely top notch professional. It seemed like we were the only guests in the hotel - by design…. Definitely going to stay here when visiting Mérida again.
