Hotel Los Aluxes

Parking situation, rude parking lot guards (both shifts), room had mold, no hot water for sink, had to fix it myself, loud nightlife at hotel itself and outside of hotel until 4 am, uncomfortable bed, housekeeping turned off AC.

Location & pet friendly

Check in is always slow! Each time something is always missing from room (water, towels, tv controls)

It is located in the downtown area, close to great restaurants and coffee shops.

Good service. Needs maintenance.

The hotel staff, is always checking to see if there is something they can help you with.

Not much I liked about the property. Parking was convenient.

To say the property was tired is generous. It was shabby and elevators didn’t work. Your “special” price was more than the walk in rate.

The location near the downtown and paseo Montejo it’s just perfect

The elevator didn't work, so I had to get off on the third floor and travel with elderly people, which made it unpleasant to carry the suitcases up so many stairs.

Breakfast. I chose the hotel for the location and because it included breakfast. It rated 4stars, I did not see how those stars were awarded. The accommodations were mediocre at best.

I like the location

The rooms were dingy and outdated. Beds were lumpy, bed sheets were not clean and bathroom ceiling had mold

Everything was bad experience

Nice reception, good buffet.

Very outdated, broken bathroom sink , dirty sink , sheets with blood stains , smelly room. Bathroom had dirty córners, rusty doors in bathroom.

Needs an update

American breakfast was the worst!Location is great.

The included breakfast and update room with refrigerator and microwave as well as inside of the rooms because looks old and sealing are moldy.

Quiet. Staff was friendly.

Toilet in room was not good. Had to use the toilet in the lobby. Air conditioner was loud. No safe in the room. American breakfast was very limited. Only scrambled eggs and beans, toast and a few juices. Coffee not so good. No fridge in the room to keep drinking water cold.

It could have been cleaner.Every time we took a shower, there was water everywhere. Floor was sobbing wet

The location was good.

This was one of the most run down properties we have stayed in. We booked a junior suite expecting a nice room with a jacuzzi on the patio. The room was filthy. We noticed drips on the walls and the floors were dirty. The bedding is worn beyond what I would expect.

I liked the bar staff.

I didn't like the rooms. The bathroom wasn't very clean; the shower had mildrew in the ceiling.

The staff is friendly and respectful.

The room and the hotel need maintenance. The card to access the room doesn’t work, bathroom has water leak, air conditioning doesn’t work correctly, breakfast is very poor. When I made the reservation they showed pictures with a different buffet, when we arrived they said it have an extra cost, $ 215.00 pesos per person. They are using false information to cheat customers.

Hotel location, great and be able to go all places a walking distance and not need to rent a car, the bus system is great and take you to the malls

Bathroom, the water stay and contact the front desk and did not be able to repair. The room door is using an card system with battery and one day did not work and call the front desk and try to fix or open and did not work, they call the maintenance and use a hammer and cincel to remove the lock and be able to open the door and that time we need to take everything from that room to another room.The new room bath was broken and they repair or patch and the bath tub wasn’t seat properly and when we take a shower I feel like I will fell because the tub is not seat properly The American breakfast, was a joke, banana, coffee, beans, scramble eggs (already done with tomato, onion) cold, pan Bimbo. I try one or two days and get sick is when we decide to go outside
