Pros +
- Location was great. They did not clean the room very well. The furniture is kind of broken, we had problems with the drawers. When we came back in the afternoon, we took our shoes off, we could feel sand in the room, they did not vacuum it.
- Ideally located .
- LOCATION,LOCATION,LOCATION. PRICE. Cool courtyard with pool. Very calm and relaxing. Staff nice. There was an elevator. Easy access to EVERYTHING EVEN TRANSPORTATION right outside the lobby door
Cons -
- Communication was extremely difficult. There was no one at the front desk able to understand English.
- FOOD horrible. AC Worked but noisy, water pump VERY noisy in room 402 till after midnight.Room ok bathroom right hard to maneuver from bathroom to sink!No ice or anywhere to put it. Had a small fridge but. Nowhere to store ice even if you bought it
- I lost my room key (plastic card key), and for the first time in 30y of travel (200+ trips), i got charged for the missing Plastic card key, not even my bank charges me when i loose a plastic card, that makes this stay one of the worst ever, a hotel looking to find a way to overcharge the guest.

We loved this little hotel! It has a beautiful courtyard and pool and the price and location can’t be beat! It is in walking distance of everything, great restaurants, shopping and the plaza. It was clean, the rooms had comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. It’s an all around great value and we’d stay again.
Nothing really. Parking is off premises but it was free which was nice!
Close to tourist things and good shopping.
2nd floor elevator does NOT go to second floor.
Great location- good for a family of 5
Door was not opening-
Great location near Parque Santa Lucia. The room was comfortable enough & the housekeeper was wonderful. He fixed the TV in my room so that I could access cable. Didn’t check out the pool but heard others using it.
My shower. It was difficult to get a balance of hot and cold. It was one or the other.
Best location.Lowest price.
Stayed 18 days, elevator to our top floor room not working first 10 days.
Garden
The noise. Parties all night. Music starts st 7 in morning.
The location was great, though that’s about it.
Fourth floor walk up! The elevator doesn’t work and they didn’t even offer to help us with our bags. The staff was rude, the shared bathrooms in the dining area were filthy. We asked for softer pillows and they told us they have no spare pillows only enough for the rooms so to get a spare pillows we had to ask when someone was checking out so they could take the pillows from their room.
Good shower staff freidly
Got a room on third floor ,next to the street, Misic blared all nite no sleep. Hotel would not refund me or change my room, so spent a second nite there, same thing no sleep. Should of forfeited my money and got another hotel.
This property is centrally located on Calle 60, the most active street in Mérida. We stayed 30 days to explore the city and culture. The front desk staff were informative and efficient. The rooms and facilities were kept very clean by cleaning and facilities staff. Breakfast was served in the hotel, which is nice, but not included if you use Booking.com. There’s a coffee shop attached to the hotel and restaurants / retail stores in every direction. Staff at the front desk spoke various languages as well as English. Other staff spoke only Spanish which was not a problem as desk staff would communicate. Lockbox was available upon request. Daily cleaning of room. Pool was also cleaned daily but very cold. Air conditioner in room worked great. TV had about 2-3 English stations and hundreds of Spanish speaking stations.
The elevator had been out of service for an extended time based upon previous reviews. The rooms could have used an update as old screw holes were visible. Had to buy additional hangers for closet.
Nice lobby and good location
Very long waits for hot waterToilet would not fill to flush and was told would wait. Turns out water valve sticks and I had to add shampoo to the valve once a day to get it to work. Poorly maintained property and staff did not care. When I went to get a coffee was asked if I paid for the breakfast package and had to do without coffee until we left for breakfast in a restaurant Have travelled for over 20 years and mostly in various Mexico areas and have never stayed in shush a poorly run property
the staff are helpful. the staff try to be accommodating in a bad situation. the staff are always smiling and helpful and seemed frustrated. the free parking lot is a long walk away and shared with another hotel and has limited spaces, i couldnt get parking on arrival and had to pay to park in the parking opposite.
I stay in a lot of 5* and 4* hotels around the world. this is very far from a 4* hotel, 2* bordering on a pension hotelthe photos in the listing are old and DO NOT reflect the current state of the hotel. The hotel is rundown. the terraces do not have any cushions for the iron chairs. The lift does not work. the bedroom furniture was old and broken. the mattress is a rock hard mattress and the type of mattress from the 70's. there were no remotes for the aircon which was damaged and not cleaned which is a health risk. there are limited number of aircon remotes for the number of roomsthere were no remotes for the TV and you have to request them, if they can find them. When i requested the TV remotes and there weren't any available in the reception they came and searched the room going through all our belongings in the drawers and cupboards. they then had to search through other rooms to find some remotes as there are not enough for the number of rooms. the toilet takes a very long time to refill after a flush, not really suitable for two people in the morningthere are no glasses or cups in the roomthere was a lot of black mould under the sinkthe showerhead was dirty and blocked, so only about 10% of the nozzles worked. i had to remove it and clean it before it could be used.the sink taps leaked water all over the counter so we had to remove our toiletries from the sinkthe safe, you have to request a key and pay $500mxn, and it is not very safe just perched on a table. the towels some days were ok, other days they were very old and frayed the fridge was old and rusty with the freezer door missing so some drinks froze and burst their capsthe pillows are are hard foam pillows and smelt damp and old
this location is at the centre of many things to do love it
the Ac in the room not working had to move to a next room
The location is in the centre so it is amazing
Rooms are dark, the tv doesn't work, breakfast is poor and expensive.
Paulo was extremely nice and helped us when we were overcharged by a night clerk
It was very noisy no quiet hours. The bed was not very comfortable. The shower head needed to be cleaned. And the WiFi only worked in the lobby.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
Water temperature to cook a chicken. No way to regulate water temperature, Also, could moderanize a bit.
The staff was very nice and helpful, the location is really good
The hotel would definitely need a renovation. The elevator, the door lock and the toalett were not working properly. The AC was broken and they could only fix it after 3 days so it was really hot in the room and also the window was really small. There is only one hair dryer in the recepcion.
