    Pros +

    • Perfect location, close to everything and walkable. Rooms were safe and clean, wifi worked all of the time, restaurants were close.
    • Rooms were clean and spacious, front desk staff were very helpful and friendly
    • Great location. Room is completely updated and very clean. Coffee shop right out the front on one side and a good Italian restaurant on the other side.

    Cons -

    • This is not the hotel's fault but, we didn't enjoy the children running up and down the halls screaming at 7:00 a.m. and partiers could be pretty noisy at night.
    • If you¿re a light sleeper you may want to stay elsewhere. It¿s right on the street and quite loud
    • Housekeeping sprays the room with an "air freshener" at the end of each cleaning. The scent was overwhelmingly strong for me. I asked them not to spray it, but a new cleaning lady didn't know. Management should just dial it back.

Very good location, the room is nice and the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is clean, the AC works well, and there is hot water in the shower.

    Great location.

My room didn’t have coffee maker and towels were ripped.

    8NatasjaPosted on: 11-3-2025

Great location with restaurants within walking distance, clean, quiet and spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff.

During my first stay, the safe did not work. They moved me to another room right away so they solved this well. During my second stay some of the lightbulbs in my room did not work. I only reported it on check out as these were minor maintenance issues.

Location was great. Staff was good. Room was big

Not enough light into the room. It felt dark

    7JulianaPosted on: 7-14-2025

Location and the bathroom is huge.

The rooms are too dark, a bit noisy and they only leave 2 towels (just for the body) none for hands.

    Location.

We were there for a concert and arrived 2:00 pm for check in and weren’t able to get an early check in. There was a used soap in the shower which we weren’t able to let the front desk know because we were in a hurry. I usually take my shoes off as soon as I enter a room where I’m going to get rest and the floor was absolutely filthy. I couldn’t believe how my feet were so I checked my socks from the day we arrived and they were incredibly dirty. We will not recommend or stay at this place ever again. We were very disappointed since its rating and most reviews are ok.

    Location, marago coffee

The room had an oder. The private terrace floor was very dirty. The pool was very dirty.

    7AdriaanPosted on: 3-31-2025

The hotel is fine. Rooms are clean, and most staff are friendly. The design of the rooms is nicely done and the terrace on the 4th floor is nice, so are the restaurant and café at the entrance. It was also not a 'wow experience. They're mostly small details, but the pool is actually tiny with milky water and has no showers to rinse. The internet failed frequently, which obligated us several times to find a café to work, and although we booked for 4, several times we had to ask for towels as there were only two. We only got one key card as apparently they don't have enough cards. The first floor was noisy in the mornings and at night, especially with the sound of the phones of reception that, for some reason, kept going off every night of our 6 night stay. Overall, it was a bit disappointing but nothing mayor.

    2RonaldPosted on: 3-13-2025

Nothing because they were overbooked and didn't have a room for us

They bumped us down the street to another inferior hotel whose room did not have the amenities we had booked and whose breakfast was terrible

    9AlejandraPosted on: 3-1-2025

I loved the location, the cleanliness of the rooms, the shower pressure was wonderful as well. We’ll go back again for sure!

We had a minor issue with the toilet, the water was not coming fast to the tank so if you used the toilet and someone su else wanted to use it immediately after you, that person had to wait a couple of minutes to flush again because there was something wrong with the water tank. Something minor, we did inform the reception so they can fix it. Hopefully the maintenance team will fix it soon.

    10AlejandraPosted on: 3-1-2025

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. As clean as the first time and all of the staff acknowledged us.

I guess there was an issue with the hot water but we informed reception and they sorted it out. Not a big deal.

    5MerrynPosted on: 1-30-2025

The hotel is located on Paseo de Montejo, a popular spot in Mérida. The room was a decent size. The bathroom was clean.

There was sand or something on the mattress. Under the bed was dusty and hadn't been cleaned and the floor had sticky dirt on it. The only window in the room opened onto the main entrance area so we had to have it closed and the blind drawn all the time.We could hear all the noise from outside in the lobby / entrance and the cleaning staff would shout to each other in the morning. The pool was dirty and there was no common area / place to sit outside of the room.

    Location

Not clean. A lot of ants and were moving inside the bedroom and WC. Cockroach was moving in the WC and Bathroom very scary. The staffs were not able to speak english, just one was able but shift has changed. We could not get an Invoice from the hotel, whatever they told us that they will email us but never happened.

spacious room at a good location

    no windows, staff unatentive

    8AnaPosted on: 12-30-2024

Very good location, a bit limited service, no real lobby , more as a airbnb. Room where big, relatively clean, good breakfast in the bar in front of a hotel.

No real windows, but a side window facing the internal corridor/ patio, which is not a big problem is it a open patio and enough air. Could be a bit noisy when people are passing near your room.

    6DavidPosted on: 12-30-2024

    Location. Large clean rooms.

Hot water sometimes luke war. Noise from neighboring restaurant in some rooms.
