Everyone on the staff was wonderful, with exception of a front desk clark. The staff of the restaurant Cuna were all very nice, especially hotel employee! Room very clean and comfortable beds.

The receptionist who greeted us upon arrival, was beyond rude. She wanted additional monies from us above and beyond what was already paid when reservation was made. Would check us in without this surprise charge.

I felt at ease all the employees were supr friendly and ready to give us a great experience during our stay

Reasonable location, room was spacious and very comfortable, gym was serviceable but staff could do with additional training

We encountered a few issues with our stay - (1) This hotel was advertised as having a pool but when we arrived the pool was still under renovation, (2) While the staff were all very polite and tried their best to accommodate us, it seemed like they were unfamiliar with their process, (3) We were also charged an extra fee even though our booking said it included all fees and taxes. We followed this up at check out but the front desk staff’s english wasn’t great. We had a flight to catch and so we decided to pay the extra fees and follow this up via booking.com and the hotel. It’s been two months now and there is still no resolution to this issue.

Very clean

My family (2 other separate rooms) experience no AC for the first night. We had some elderly family members join our room to get some AC and get some rest since my room did had AC. Also service at the restaurant was 1 hr wait to get attention to get our drink order and food, the fruit was not fresh and breakfast was blah.Mind we reserved total of 5 rooms for our family for 3 nights. It would had been nice to get a discount or some part of refund.

Extremely disappointing. Would not recommend!

- smelt like sewage: at the back of the hotel it smells like sewage and they pump sewage from the system for multiple hours a day it is extremely loud, they also have bullfighting behind the hotel and Saturday night you can hear the bulls screaming in pain.. not great.- bad service: every time we went to the restaurant you need to ask the staff 5 times to get the cheque or for a napkin- paper thin walls: we could hear every single thing from the room next door, it was as if we were in the same room, made it impossible to sleep in or get to sleep- mediocre location: nothing immediately near worth walking to, so many hotels with better access to Merida

The property is chic and lovely. The staff was nice at check-in and very helpful. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The grounds were really cool with a “zen garden” feel. Very close walk to nice restaurants, shopping and Paseo 60. Be aware they charge $1000 pesos for your pet, which I thought was insanely high. However, they provided a dog bed and bowl, plus a “kit de perrito” with some cute goodies for my dog.

Expensive pet charge, parking is minimal and a very small underground spot not easy to get into.

Beautifully appointed comfortable rooms in a peaceful natural setting. Fabulous gourmet breakfast on a lovely terrace. Mostly adults. Service was exceptional- especially Luis at the door!

Honestly… theres nothing negative i can say.

Nothing as such but the location is not ideal if you want to be within the walking distance from Merida central. You need to drive to reach place grande or any restaurant or cafe. Though this hotel has a very good restaurant.

It was a beautiful property. Perfect amenities. Gym, restaurant, bar, pool and a gift shop.

Safety is a serious matter in this hotel and rooms has doors in the middle , some of the guests are not aware of this Also there is a very heavy smell in the mornings like septicAnother bad thing almost all hotel has no one has respect or equal kindness when you do reservations with booking You get the worst room and worst service Booking has to involve with this globally to protect their customers from this kind of scammers

The Wayam Mundo was the BEST part of our trip to Merida. every single staff member was Amazing!!! The hotel is simply stunning! IMPECCABLY maintained, comfortable and welcoming. The location was excellent!

Only the weather in Merida was a bit harsh. The hotel was Cool and Comfortable!

Location is easy and very central, room are clean and modern, overall hotel look is very neat. The restaurant is amazing, every single dish was outstanding.

Swimming pool is a bit small for the size of the hotel and not all staff members speak English which doesn’t make it easy for foreigners.

Very nice hotel, tastefully designed. The room was very nice, comfortable beds, and overall well equipped. The pool on the roof was very nice for cooling down as we were there during a very hot week. Location is fantastic, lots of good restaurants in the area and the architecture of the neighbourhood is very interesting.

Just nitpicking but - 1. The room had teabags but no tea cups, only two small espresso cups, so nothing really to have tea in 2. Nowhere to hang wet swimsuits, no bathrobes for going to the pool

The hotel is quite modern and stylish; the rooms are spacious and well equipped;the beds are large and comfortable.The restaurant is certainly one of the best in town.

The hotel is around 40 minutes away from the centre.From 3 toilets in the hotel-lobby 2 are out of order and the 3rd is dirty.The staff is not really supportive: for 3 days it was not possible to get a second chair for the terrace.During the whole stay the rooms were not cleaned up before 4 p.m. (!!)

Terrible

We asked for early check in between 1 and 2pm on the website when booking. When we arrived they said the room was not ready and had us wait two hours. The address on the website is wrong. The concierge said there should not be an H after the address when I showed him the address on their website. Our Uber dropped us off up the street and we had to walk with all of our luggage in the heat. Our room was dirty. Bathroom had a dead cockroach and spider webs and trash in the drawers.They put us next to an event room where loud music pounded into our room till midnight. When we had to be up at 3am to catch our taxi at 4am to the airport.I asked for a shuttle on the website and also when we checked in but that morning they had no record and he could not locate a taxi. Luckily I had Uber. Our Dining experience for dinner was also horrible. My friend ordered a hamburger well done and it came medium rare. They had to cook it three times before it was correct. My fish was very overcooked and our waitress disappeared for a long amount of time.
