Pros +
- Great location, room was great size; nice facilities.
- Nice Location, nice Roms
- Loved the central location. Everything walkable (Plaza Grande, restaurants, Santa Lucía just steps away). Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The place spotless, super safe, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier. Great value, charming vibe, and peaceful pool courtyard. Great value, charming vibe, and peaceful pool courtyard. Highly recommend. 5/5! Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Cons -
- Breakfast options; staff not always friendly; often had to track down someone to ask for more coffee etc; missing towels in room; trash was dropping by cleaning lady inside room on my porch down my steps. Very expensive to be missing these marks sadly. Could be excellent if fixed minor issues
- They had given our room to somebody else , we had to wait 90min for them to find a solution even though they had other rooms available They asked the people in the room to move out and wanted me to take the room without changing the bed-sheets. Staff has no training, there is no manager in charge. I was denied the possibility to even talk over the phone with a superior.
- Cleanliness and overall maintenance could have been better. Bathroom wasn’t entirely clean, lights were flickering and the pillows were very worn down.

You can tell it’s had better days, although, overall the place is nice and very well located. It feels a bit run down.
Cleanliness and overall maintenance could have been better. Bathroom wasn’t entirely clean, lights were flickering and the pillows were very worn down.
Small and quiet hotel. Good location close to Parque Santa Lucia, Museo de la Gastronomia y el Zocalo.
It would be good to have tissues in the rooms.
Easy place to get around from. Parking av across the street. Rooms nice size, staff is quite responsive and helpful.Lovely old building, spaces is well used.
Breakfast: Better choices and more variety please!Better bread. More fruit. Online photos are not accurate.
Quality bedding is comfortable with a simple breakfast, pancakes or eggs with toast. Coffee was served all in the garden.
We had hoped to extend for an additional night but the price nearly doubled so we had to move. Parking was 120 pesos across the street and very little on street parking.
Very good
The breakfast was very basic. Only some fruit and then choose between eggs or waffles. No juice, only choice of tea, coffee or chocolate
Garden, big bathroom
Wasn’t totally clean
Large spacious room, we had a small issue with the shower that was immediately solved, which we much appreciated! Friendly service and delicious breakfast. Beautiful common areas and swimming pool. Very nice location.
Very nice location, easy walk to town and museums, cute little and relaxing backyard , apartment ( 3 people) was comfortable and big .
Unfortunately, the pool was not very well maintained, not inviting for a swim .
The atmosphere is wonderful! It is a restored old building from colonial times in the middle of downtown.Relaxing there and forgetting about daily life, was a breeze! Staff (Rene, Gabriel and the cleaning ladies) went above and beyond to make it so. They helped in every aspect they could and were eager to make our experience unforgettable. From the whole experience, their people were what makes this stay the best in a long list of places we have ever stayed.
I don’t have anything negative to say, nor to complain about.
Lovely breakfast of fruit and toast followed by an egg entree. All cooked fresh. Our room was beautiful.Everyone was friendly and accommodating.
Great foyer. Lots of space.
One toilet was a bit weak. Towels could have been whiter.
I like the location because It wasn't right in the centre but very close in a quiet área. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean . The garden area was beautiful although petit
The furniture looks very old and cheap. The shower is not tiled . The breakfast is too simple and not enough in my view. I mean a little bit of butter and a small amount of jam and toast one for each and scrambled eggs coffee or tea and a bowl of fruit 50 grams no more
The hotel was beautifully designed and decorated, rooms very clean and spacious. Breakfast was nice and staff helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Many plants, near the center, breakfast and pool included, nice staff
Unfortunately, the room was very dirty when checking in on our first day, and after asking for it to be cleaned again, nothing changed, only changed sheets on the bed. There were toothpaste, stains behind the sink, the sink was loose, unwashed cups, mold covered the bathroom floor, the showerheads were completely broken, there were hairs from previous guests on the bed, dried brown, flaky spots on the floor in front of the toilet, the fridge didn’t work, many bugs made their way into the room, and the floor was un mopped upon check-in.
The garden, the breakfast place, the pool, the plants , the room with the big bed, big bathroom , safely built , nice lights in the room , very cozy etc.
The breakfast was too less for me as a foodie , the portion was small.
Attentive staff from arrival to departure. Comfortable bed and pillows. Yummy breakfast and coffeeI was able to walk to many stores and restaurants.
Great location, walking distance from the main areas. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the pool area feels cozy. Good breakfast.
The rooms did not have proper sound proofing, and there is not option to buy food nor drinks from the hotel.
