There was no ventilation, our room smelled terrible (like poop), and they first gave us a key to a room that was already occupied. They said they couldn't do anything about all this.

First of all, the system was down when we got there so they manually checked us in and gave us a key to a room with someone sleeping in it already. My partner went down to the lobby to get a different room and I stayed upstairs, we got a room in a different floor so I couldn't go down there because I didn't have a key to that floor and was stuck in the elevator for a while until they called it down to that new floor. When we went inside the new room, it smelled sooooooo bad (drain, poop, etc). We called the front desk and they said they couldn't do anything else. The next morning we still had to pay (no system the night before) and they didn't even offer a discount or anything for the terrible service and experience. They are a business that focuses on comfort and we were not comfortable with our stay. We stayed there just because it was so late already, but I don't plan on staying there any time soon.
I loved the hotel! It has an amazing view. Also the staff was very nice :) We ate the breakfast there and was very ok. I highly recommend City Express Hotel! Thank u so much for your attention. My family and I really want to come back
