Coral Island Beach View Hotel

The walkability and location was great. The room had a very nice ocean view. The pools ocean view was also very nice. The staff was all friendly and helpful. The internet was ok.

Unfortunately the hotel rooms have thin doors. Because a lot of our room neighbors were in town for a soccer tournament, they were very loud and we could hear them all night.

I didn't have wifi on My laptop, the hotel doesnt have ice, And the personal is not quified to resolve that problems....plus We were a couple And they gave us a room with two beds...

Location

1) we are twice a year guest. We drive down with are dog. Parking is secure and beach across the street to walk the dog. We also appreciate María at the front desk. She remembers us and greets us by name. She is the best from all of travelsThank You Maria. You should be the manager!

Can be noisy front the male on traffic if you are on a lower floor close to the street

Excellent staff from front desk to parking to restaurant at the hotel. Clean, comfortable, secure and across street from the ocean.

Like the hotel. The view was amazing. The staff was great. The food was delicious.

Had to walk far for ice

The rooms were dirty.. floors were not clean. There was hair all over in bathroom when we arrived..

There is a nice pool and cafe area overlooking the beach. All the staff was great. And I fell in love with Mazatlan. I loved old town. I loved the breweries. I had some great meals.

I didn't love the beach area along the malecon. It feels barren and the water was rough both days.

there is a very large loud fan in the pool area which made it imposible to enjoy the pool and was also very loud from our balcony which made sitting outside not enjoyable.

Could not get Wifi. Had to leave after one night stay.

This was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Our room had a nice view of the ocean, a large shower, and comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful- we enjoyed Jorge (he pronounces it Georgy)

Close to everywhere.

The card to get inside wasn't good. To open the door room I spend twenty minutes. I ask to the receptionist if they can change my room but they didn't so I moved to another hotel.

Everything was great ?

The only thing that I didn't like about the room was that the restroom has very steep steps right before entering and my elderly mother struggled to go up them, so I ended up going with her every time to help her up.

I’ll preface by saying we stayed here for the eclipse so options were limited but I would never stay here again even at it’s normal rate (which is still probably too high for what you get).Everything. Most staff in reception was incredibly rude, and seemed to depend on whether or not one woman (manager perhaps?) was there. They’d tell me one thing while I was in the lobby then call my room the second I got in to change their mind. But then the next day of course we’d start all over again. It’s old, unwelcoming, has zero charm. My room was converted from a family room to a queen room which means the door that previously led to a living room area is now another guest’s room eg you can hear absolutely everything. Even if no one is in that room, the noise from the street behind the hotel is actually 10x worse than what comes in from the malecon side. There are no good food or cafe options nearby. We ended up taking the bus to the old center everyday or going further north to get a good meal or even a coffee.
