- Its location, right in the center of the city. The hotel is in a converted old hacienda that once, before 1945 when they converted it into the hotel, was a soft drink factory. Beautifully managed and upkept gardens inside the inner patio provide calm feeling of safety and peace as well as guard you against the street noise. I will return.

- The staff tried to cancel my reservation, and they were rude, and they said they couldn't solve my issue until the manager got there, but the manager got there late even though I made the reservation online.
- No glasses in the rooms. I don’t like drinking water from plastic bottles. I’d recommend changing these bottles into glass decanters with drinking water.
- Nothing to criticize. I am completely satisfied.

The staff is incredibly warm and helpful; they always made me feel welcome. The location in central S. Juan del Rio is ideal.Hotel Layseca might be the best hotel deal I've ever had.

Amazingly tranquil ambience right in the centre of town. Very comfortable bed with lovely linens. Parking very secure within the inner courtyard of the hotel itself.

Beautiful historic facility, and well maintained. Restaurant next door is outstanding for breakfast and dinner. (Sorgo Rosso is the bane)
Water takes some time to heat up, but is fine once it does.
Comfortable bed, nice view, good shower and helpful,friendly staff. Plus a beautiful old hotel.
