Hotel Plaza del Sol

Pros +

• I can’t recommend this hotel. It was cheap but lacking amenities. There is a pool but it was dirty and closed. The room was bare, no chair, just one overhead light, no hot water one morning, no coffee, had to ask for water. The worst was a mad dog that barked most of the night. Thin blankets I had to take the cover from the second bed. I think the staff is trying but I would not stay here again.
• The property is located over a road, 10 minutes away walking to the city center, the zone is quiet, and this neighborhood of Malinalco is very residential, to be honest, it is more a road motel than a hotel.
• bed bug infested !!

Cons -

• No hot water in the shower, no comfortable bed or sheets, cleaners are ok, and the staff was helpful but not recommended if you want to be chill, relaxed, and enjoy some vacations. If you are spending two nights in malinalco and you are going to be away during day it will be ok.
• the place was very dirty and beds were infested by bed bugs. not even an apology after signaling this to the staff. the pool was dirty cloudy waters. avoid at all costs !!!
