Front office and breakfast staff
The room safe was broken
The rooftop was very pretty. The server at breakfast was wonderful and the only friendly encounter with hotel staff.
The check-in was very cold. I said hello when i walked in and the person at the desk barely looked up from her phone. Waited until i arrived at the desk and simply said "name?" I was given no information on amenities, breakfast location, or anything else. Was never acknowledged by desk staff anytime coming in or out. Room was a bit run down and had loose dirt on the bedding like it had been used in between bookings. Armoire was rickety and leaned forward when opened as if it might topple over. Windows facing lobby were very thin and could hear every conversation as if in room.
The hotel is on a great location, quiet and only a few minutes from downtown
The rooms were not very clean, our room did not have hand towels and hand soap. The sheets and towels are kind of old. It looks like the hotel needs some renovations, but over all everything was great.
Fantastic location, the staff were super welcoming, cosy beds, and the tequila shot upon arrival was the best!
The property was very nice and well-decorated. There is a nice eating area upstairs. La propiedad está linda y bien adornada.
It’s small. The rooms are small.
I loved the complimentary cantarito shots, the decorations, the elevator, and the room. The elevator was super cool because it was helpful and vintage.
The parking was across the street in a narrow lot, and at night one of the reception girls sounded passive aggressive.
Clean, decorations, friendly and very helpful staff
Sheets and towels look old and decoration pillows were stained and wormed out.
Amazingly comfortable king size bed, and gorgeous rooftop with a pool - plus a generous and tasty Mexican breakfast.
Rooms by the side of the road can be quite noisy but the traffic dies down at night
Friendly staff, location, old world charm and cossy.
The property is beautiful and very clean. Great location
There was a strong smell of sewage every time we used the bathroom sink. The breakfast was good however I wish there would be a disclaimer or information at the time of booking explaining what is included in the breakfast package if purchased. You have the option of one beverage and one breakfast item only. The options offered in the menu are limited and the portions are small. Anything additional will be an extra charge. The pool is tiny.
Hospitality was excellent, friendly staff and great location. The complimentary breakfast was great.
after our 3rd night, we noticed a few roaches in the room. The issue was resolved promptly.
Nice location, nice breakfast terrace, nice personnel.
Personnel did not speak any English...I know I shouldn't expect it, but I was a little surprised.
The room was enormous, great air conditioning and there wasn’t any noise
I booked the hotel to take an interview and the WiFi was terrible. It completely cut out in the afternoon for the whole evening and it was also choppy in the morning. It’s an expensive hotel and so I think this is unacceptable. The breakfast was also small and tasteless (as was the coffee)
Charming property. Safe.Staff super friendly.
Breakfast is limited to 3 dishes, but still very good.
The style and small details about it, the terraza. Breakfast was so delish! The attention of the personal.
Head shower water come out very thing strings and small motion, need to change head shower. The shower door need to adjust to be more firm and secure.
It has a very authentic feel to it. It's not super-modern but it has character and that's what I liked about it. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are usually several breakfast options, the portions aren't huge but they're sufficient as well as delicious. The breakfast is served up above on the terrace, which is a nice place to hang out, even when it isn't breakfast time. The bathroom is clean and the bed is comfortable. It's a pretty convenient location that's roughly a 7-8 minute walk from Calle Independencia, which is where the main action is for tourists. I found the neighborhood to be safe, just take common sense precautions. I had a very pleasant stay, good value for the cost and I would absolutely stay there again.
There were a couple of times that the breakers were a bit finicky after putting the room card in the slot upon entering. The lights would go off for several seconds and then pop back on for several seconds. Taking the card out of the slot and putting it back in once or twice seemed to fix the issue. Nothing big, but it did happen a couple of times.
We loved the location, Tlaquepaque is a very short walk. The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi was good too.
I like the location and the terrace
It was extremely loud, nearly impossible to have a good night sleep. The bathroom was very old.
