- Don't take any chances!
- We adored Hector, sister Rocio, assistant friend Alfredo. All were so kind, accommodating, generous, and friendly. The patio is exceptionally beautiful as well. Le estoy agradecido!
- A quiet house and very accessible to all the restaurants and shopping area of Tlaquepaque. I was a solo traveler female and I felt safe in this small hotel.
Cons -
- I had a very strange experience with this place. I arrived by taxi early on January 12. There was no signage Or anything to indicate that this was the right place. The doorway area Was locked And very dirty. I called the provided number But I kept getting a message That they would be in mas tarde. My last call was at 9:30 AM. I decided to find another hotel. I returned To this address the next day because I was curious. Still not open With 0 signage. But an elderly man was kind of working on the doorway. When I return home in 2 weeks I'll be able to check if I actually paid for this. My recollection is that I was to pay when I arrived. Is this place a scam?
- Breakfast was some bread and papaya no choice. But that did not spoil our stay.
- The beds are a little firm, but this is something we've found in other hotels in Mexico.

The place is beautiful, clean, incredibly well located. The staff was the best! They were kind and caring and had the absolute best recommendations for shopping and dining. It felt like staying with family you hadn’t seen in a long time.
The staff were excellent, extremely attentive, and even made a big fuss over my grandsons 8th birthday. The hotel is an old Mexican house beautiful and quaint and very clean. All of the rooms open into a lovely courtyard. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were small but sufficient and the location was perfect.
Breakfast was some bread and papaya no choice. But that did not spoil our stay.
Breakfast was nice and the location was excellent: very walkable and quiet. Hector and his family are so nice! They take care very good care of their guests. We so enjoyed meeting and chatting with them. We highly recommend Casa Rosa Amelia and would enjoy staying there again. It was a wonderful experience. Loved the cheerful rooms.
Beautiful garden and very tranquil. Hector is a wonderful host. He went the extra mile to accommodate us. He’s a very special person.
Breakfast was a lovely fruit plate. Coffee was also served. The location is so great, around the corner from the main shopping street in Tlaquepaque. This is a very small family run hotel with a lovely courtyard. The rooms are large, we booked two rooms and were the only people staying. The host, Hector, was absolutely lovely and kind.
The beds are a little firm, but this is something we've found in other hotels in Mexico.
Spacious rooms away from the high traffic area, but close enough for easy access to restaurants and attractions.
The rooms were not equipped with TV or lock box for valuables. However, WiFi was very consistent so lack of TV for news or weather checks was not a problem.
Nice and clean friendly and curtious hostess
