Hacienda San Angel

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. And the staff were absolutely amazing. It’s a real paradise and stunningly curated. It feels like stepping into a fairytale.

We ordered a suite and felt that for the extra money we were expecting something a little more opulent. The room was beautiful but felt a little cramped compared to some of the other rooms.

The place is beautiful in every way. The way it's decorated, the view, the amenities, and every room is so unique.

The stairs. I stayed in what would be the 3rd floor, and the stairs can be a lot. Especially after walking up the stairs in the street.

The staffs are so friendly and supportive, the hotel very cute and clean. The restaurant is also delicious!

Pillow is not comfortable.

The amenities the hotel offered, Multiple swimming pools, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, chocolates every night, the location, the restaurant, during your stay it does not feel like a crowded place

Attitude of kitchen staff

- no intent from reception staff to make us feel confortable.- excessive pricing (2 beers + 2 sandwiches 100 us)- room with no view - loud music from street at 5 am -long time for hot water in shower -small pool

What an exceptional property! Me and my wife celebrated our anniversary in the San Miguel Presidential Suite…amazing. The large ocean view patio, the rooftop hot tub, the views, the location, the wonderful staff, the well appointed suites and grounds. Truly a special place!

Staff & accommodations were excellent. The staff is superb. My husband leff his phone in a taxi that we got, the hotel did not order it for us. The staff went above & beyond to help us find the phone which was an impossible task. They did track it down & my husband got his phone back. And the entire staff is superb in Every way. A very, very special place to stay we were really impressed by the grounds the rooms and the wonderful staff. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful facilities, great pool area, comfortable rooms, very clean, kind and helpful staff, delicious cocktails and pool side food

Breakfast was just ok. The food and wine at the diner restaurant was just ok.

The hotel is located on an unassuming street in old town PV. When you first arrive you have to pull the mission bell to gain entrance to the courtyard of this old style beautiful Mexican hacienda. It is absolutely stunning, has lots of tucked away common areas with patios and or pools to relax. We also enjoyed a beautiful evening on the roof top restaurant overlooking PV and the ocean while being serenaded by a Mariachi band. It was incredible.

I have stayed at both Casa Kimberly and Hacienda San Angel at times before. This may have been more user error and booking through here instead of directly but our accommodation seemed to be an afterthought for the hotel. There are many incredible rooms in this hotel that justify the cost. This was not one of them. Tiny room snuck below one of the view patios. Patio furniture dragged along the floor above us from 7am onward.Just be cautious of which room you book.

OMG our stay there was fantastic. Completely exceeded our expectations. The property is so beautiful, filled with stunning art and antiques, fountains and pools. So many lovely spaces to relax and enjoy. And the staff was equally incredible. They could not do enough for their guests. Warm and friendly and always on hand to provide excellent service.

Absolutely nothing we did not like. It was perfect.

The facility is beautiful - each room is unique. We had the Angel View Suite which has a nice view of the bay. The room is quite large and very open and private. We opted for breakfast in the room and it was perfect. Everyone is super helpful.

I can't think of anything I did not like.

Situated in an authentic neighborhood ( not many left) on the hillside above the main plaza and cathedral means amazing views and sunsets and just a 2-3 walk down stairs to the centre of everything. Great location!Finally, a hotel with old style values, lovely linens, turn down with handmade chocolates, the ability to have meals anywhere on the property, antique silverware… all the old worlde details that make it so unique. Everything spotless with immaculate gardens.Staff are a joy! Kind, attentive and pour a mean margarita!Pools are pristine and quiet, hard to believe you are in the centre of a bustling tourist town.

The food experience was not great. Breakfast was fine with fresh cut fruit and juice etc but both the lunch and dinner were a little lacking. We did not have dinner in the main restaurant but the live mariachi music ( that we could hear) made up for any inadequacies

I actually loved this property and it was stunning but it was so unfortunate that they were charging high prices while having an elevator being installed outside of the rooms. Not a peaceful environment. Would love to stay there again and enjoy not while construction is happening. Even the entrance way was torn apart at one point. I really wish they would let you know how bad the construction would be prior to arrival.
