pickleball and the Thursday pool party. Hotel Employee at the restaurant was the best. The hotel is dated and had several cob webs at the top of the walls. The front desk staff were all fluent in english. I don't remember the star rating. I would put it at a 2

The breakfast was great, staff good. It was a bit pricy.

Beautiful landscaping. Nice pool area and restaurant with decent food. Friendly staff.

Rooms were dusty, and old looking, bedding wasn't clean. No covers on the wall lights. Found spiders and a scorpion in the room. Almost no amenities (no clock, no tissue dispenser, no mini fridge. Slow check in process. Rooms doors have poor locks.

I didn’t like the fact that the sliding door leading out to the balcony was broken. Anyone could have yanked on it to get in.

Lovely grounds and pool area.

No bar fridge in room. No coffee machine. Staff a bit unfriendly. Quite far from everything. 10-15 minute walk.

It is an old building, built in a traditional manner with a wooden ceiling, they have to leave the rooms open because if not the humidity inside the room stands out

Rooms were a good size, lots of hot water, and nice pool and grounds. Friendly and helpful staff.

If you have scent allergies, this is not the hotel for you. The laundry detergent smell is so strong it is almost suffocating and will cause a serious allergic reaction. Lovely patios/balconies but no seats to sit outside.

Wonderful stay at Cabo Blanco! We have come back to this hotel for many years, and it is always a great experience! The staff is friendly and very helpful and the facilities and rooms are very clean! We love the pool and they continue to maintain it well. It is big enough to swim and get some good exercise. It is nice to have a restaurant onsite, with good food. They have music events at the poolside, and they are adding more dinner music events. This year we had a fabulous dinner, while listening to an excellent pianist. It’s perfect for a cozier or romantic meal. The location is great…close enough to town to walk; and yet, provides a comfortable family atmosphere for your stay. We always feel like we are coming back home, after exploring the town. They can also bring a taxi or you can use the water taxi. They are on the canal..so the water taxi is a fun method of transportation, to or from town. (A quick, scenic 10 min ride). We often walk into town…then water taxi back, in the evening. They have tennis/Pickleball courts; and there is an active Pickleball club that plays there.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were kept very clean. The pool area was very nice. It is an older hotel, so I think would benefit from some updating and repairs.

The pool was nice. Beds and linens were comfortable. Location was okay, 10 minute walk to restaurants and beach.

Nice grounds but no where to sit except the pool area. The decor is very dated. The water from the fixtures in the room had a strange smell, like iron.?? The breakfast buffet on Sunday was very limited in choice.

What I first thought was a drawback became a big plus. It was a little bit from the beach and downtown. 5-10 minute walk. That ended up being a great getaway from hubub.

Wifi was sketchy. Also, there was slash burning nearby that made some evenings smoky. That was beyond their control but was an issue.

We booked too many nights accidentally but were told we could not get a refund for the night we did not stay

The staff was amazing! Especially, Edwardo! He went over and above for us. Also, really enjoyed the Monday afternoon music by the pool!

Would have liked a room by the pool but I do understand that some rooms are being renovated.

Everything, clean , elegant, and super comfortable.

Only they’re missing a good parking lot.but they got security guards.

Restaurant could have a bit more charm

The hotel is a little dated but still nice. The staff was friendly, but at times a little disorganized. The pool is nice, but needs to be refinished. They have brand new pickleball courts which are great.

Very nice pool and comfortable beds.

The staff was simply rude (except for the bellman, who was very nice). They didn't acknowledge us for several minutes when we came to the front desk. The first time they were on the phone (but didn't even look at us), and the second time they were on the computer for several minutes before looking at or speaking to us. Then they put us in the farthest possible room away from everything. I had also requested a first-floor room because of physical limitations and they said there were none available, so we needed to climb stairs. They were just very unpleasant in general.
