    Pros +

    • It's very clean. Can get hot water but it takes a little while. Good water pressure.
    • The host family were lovely and went to get lengths to make our stay enjoyable. They changed our room to one with air conditioning, booked a couple of tours (only it was all Spanish which we didn¿t understand any of). Great view. Easy walk downhill to tow
    • Though the construction is not attractive at all and the garden, common areas, corridors, stairs, parking lot are awful, the room manages to be comfortable and clean, agreeable.

    Cons -

    • Room had a light outside and no room darkening curtains so it was light all night. Fyi-its in a neighborhood so lots of barking and roosters. Bring earplugs.
    • There was a funky smell coming from the bathroom from time to time. Need to keep the bathroom door shut. If you¿re driving (we weren¿t), the driveway is steep cobblestonetones which you need to drive up quickly to get up. Limited parking when you get ther

The hotel was nice, clean, reasonable and comfortable. The patio was lovely , great Mountain View to the city and walking distance to the mommy museum.

The hotel was a bit hidden, the area a bit sketchy, we walked and had to ask the locals numerous times

    Bed was comfortable

Scarcely equipped, noisy (roosters) and 30min walk to the center. MXN 630 definitely bad value for money.

Very charming, with incredibly attentive staff. Nice mattress, which surprised me for that price point. Very clean sheets that looked and smelled pristine. We had a miscommunication about which rooms had AC, but they helped correct the erroneous booking to get me what I wanted.

Hmm... Well, they put in the effort to make sure the room had light-blocking curtains, but the door was (privacy) glass and had no curtains, so the sun barged in uninvited. Aside from that, because of how folks live in that area of the city, there were dogs yapping and roosters crowing (which the hotel is not to blame for), so make sure you have ear plugs.

The beds were comfortable and they were very helpful with the luggage since it was on a hill.

Needed some curtains by the door for privacy and a mirror in the room or living room.

I love this place. It is at a hill near the city center. While it could take 20min to walk, but it only takes uber 100 peso to travel around. You can see the whole city from the house. They have a great yard that you can read, or just seat there. The rooftop is amazing. I feel I was home.
