Hotel de la Paz

Absolutely was the location of the hotel and The View that we got of the church and the courtyard there absolutely beautiful and the staff was absolutely great very clean and the hotel was also near every location that we needed to be at.

I don't have any complaints about this hotel at all

Loved it all! Staff were very helpful and nice. Location right at the action of the buzz, which can be loud but we didn’t mind it because we were there for the experience. Breakfast was tasty. The room and amenities were just right. Thank you!!

Location: ExcellentThe hotel is very centrally located, has an elevator, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and major sightseeing attractions in Guanajuato.What I liked:I really liked the Spanish colonial architecture of the building. It has a lot of historic charm and character, which adds to the experience of staying in the cityPerfect location, charming colonial building.

What could be improved:Because of the central location, it can be a bit noisy at times. The bathroom could also benefit from some modernization.

The location was great and the staff was quite helpful. The breakfast was also good.

It was very noisy throughout the night from the street activities.

The location was fantastic. There were many festivities in the streets within 2 blocks. Breakfast was across the street but very good service and choice. Heater & A/C in unit. Drinking water available for free.

Mariachi bands and roving musicians are constant in the evening. This town is a party town and the hotel is in the middle it. Great for entertainment/not for sleep. The bells at the church beside it start at 7am. A below average shower head with low water pressure.

Beautiful room and setting. Clean. Location is fantastic. Wifi did not work in my room but it did in the common areas. Breakfast was FANTASTIC.

Proximity to all the landmarks. Restaurants nearby, coffee shops.

The breakfast was not versatile. Extremely limited. Just my opinion, the waitresses at the breakfast location were not welcoming.

Great location, near by the city center. 24h counter. Provided glass water bottle and cups and you can fill them just outside of the room. The room was spacious, beautiful, clean. Our room had a window facing the alley outside. We were slightly worry about the music and the bells in the city center before the stay, but it ended up didn't bother us at all. Breakfast was in another hotel nearby but it's a very short walk. Over all, very good value for the price, the quality feels like it would cost twice than what I paid. Would definitely consider to book again if we need to stay in Guanajuato city again.

The shower door didn't fit the frame so we couldn't completely close it.

The location was perfectly centered to all the shops, restaurants, bars, and activities. The staff are amazing and friendly. We felt safe throughout our stay. The hotel is updated and rooms are clean.

Location in the heart of centro histórico. Balcony with view of church and plaza de paz. Decent breakfast included. Air conditioning.

Excellent location. Right in the center of historic district. Everything was within a 10min walk. Staff provided good customer service.

AC was noisy. No in room or front desk safe available. No english speaking channels on the TV.

Location was perfect. Very close to the main plaza and surrounded by plenty of entertainment and restaurants. It's right in the historic district. Plenty to do at walking distance to the main tourist sites. Great location!!! Breakfast was good as well.

Cleanliness was lacking. Immediately, a bad first impression. The floors and doors of the entry hallway were dirty and the floor of the room was dirty as well. They could do much better there.

I loved the location and how friendly/helpful the staff were. The room was simple with an amazing view of the city! This would be a property I’d like to stay in again.

There were super minor issues like the restroom door having a broken door knob and the light attached to the ceiling fan would flash, oddly enough when the light was off and the fan was left on, but it could’ve just been a bad bulb. One downside was that the breakfast buffet included was not on the actual property but was down the street at another hotels dining area. It wasn’t far by any means but when you have included breakfast, you’d think it was on the property you’re staying at but it wasn’t a big deal for us since we liked being out.

It was very clean, organized. Had no problems with the utility’s in room(A/C, Shower, sink, toilet, bed, lighting)

The location is right next to the downtown. It is traditional for this part of Mexico since it’s very much a tourist destination, to have parades through the day and into the night. Day after day. So it can be very noisy if one’s trying sleep for a nap during the day or at night. Plus there are is a very large church right next to the hotel. With very large bells that ring @7-8am every morning, that can also make it hard to sleep.
