Food was good but coffee mugs had lipstick.

Mattresses and pillows were too hard. The hardest I’ve ever slept on. This surpasses firm mattress.

Very friendly and helpful staff once we checked in the hotel. The front desk clerk was very professional and made the checking very smooth.

Unfortunately we were bit as we were sleeping and the bites appear to be from bed bugs. The floor was dirty and blankets didn’t appear to be washed.

The location was ok it was a 16-19 walk depending on where you are going. The view was beautiful.

The beds were very, very uncomfortable. Pillows were hard and lumpy. There are no phones in the room to communicate with front desk. We were communicating via whatsup messaging. There was no hot water in my room our first night. They insisted we DO have hot water but we did not. They did not send a maintenance person to check on it at all.The next day I requested a change of room due to the hot water situation. In this room. Unfortunately, the shower was leaking in the rest of the bathroom. It also smelled like sewage. Lastly we stayed here initially for the pool but the pool was ice cold. So cold that even and 85° weather we could not get in.

amazing view and walking distance to the historic centre. great pool for a midday break and clean room with renovated bathroom. great vibes all around

wish the room had a mini fridge

    The pool

Mattress needed replacing. Property very dated and in need of full upgrade/refurbishment throughout. There didn’t seem to be anything actually available on the breakfast menu when we went to order, including ordinary bread. The staff seemed to be confused and not too happy to have guests there. Jacqueline however at the front desk was very helpful and tried to assist as best as possible despite all the challenges. Dogs barking from nearby property kept us awake at all hours - waking us up 2am, 4am, 6am and continuously barking nonstop.

The furniture, parking place and kindness of the staff

    The curtains didn’t work properly

    10JosePosted on: 1-1-2025

The location was great friendly staff

The door knob of the bedroom it seems like it had been broken in, and latch wouldn't close all the way, which seemed very flimsy.

    Nothing significant

    The room , heater , bathroom , blanket .

    1ErikaPosted on: 12-8-2024

Nothing much … maybe the view?

From the moment we arrived we were treated with less than decency. They charged us about 25% more than the original price and blamed it on Booking.com. On our way out they wanted to charge us again for “extra hours” and demanded we gave them our credit card. When we refused, they called the police. On top of that, the lock on our room was broken, the pillow cases were dirty, we had to change the bed linens and they gave us a dirty one.Breakfast was below average and service was deplorable. The manager was unprofessional, confrontational and rude. No manners whatsoever…A local guide told us the hotel had been vacant for years and was ransacked which is why the hotel is in such bad conditions.

The rooms were spacious with a window onto a little courtyard. The rooms were cleaned well daily. Beds were large, comfortable and made with cotton sheets - essential in the hot weather. Basic toiletries provided. The pool was a good temperature. The bar was basic with a reasonable range of drinks.Breakfast was good generally

When there were a lot of guests in the dining room, breakfast orders were mixed up and unfortunately, guests were not all served in the order they arrived in the room. One of our friends cannot eat cheese but it arrived despite the request to not include it. Coffee making facilities were available in some rooms but not others with no reason given. There were no cups in the room. Not all staff were friendly. There was green algae on the steps of the pool making them slippery and the sun beds had a lot of greenery on them from the trees - not a problem in itself but it wasn't removed at any time.

The place is a nice and clean room It was a smelly, hotel, too far away from the center

    Price is ok

The place where it's located offers a beautiful view of the city of Guanajuato. Even if we had a delay upon arrival there was someone waiting for us at the reception of the hotel.

The breakfast was poor for a 4 star hotel. There was few hangers for clothes and they were not functioning well. Although the room was immense, one could not sit on the toilet if is more than 1,85m tall. My partner found a scorpion in the shower box.

    1) the breakfasts were great, amazing selection of teas and waiters made us feel comfortable voicing our needs2) the building was beautiful 3) the staff were very helpful, helping me with calling a taxi and laundry etc4) the beds were super comfortable and the view was stunning, the balcony was very cute too

    1) the window of our toilet was dirty which was a bit disappointing as there was no exhaust fan so we wanted to open the window2) I would have liked it if there were a nice conditioner, there was only two-in-one shampoo conditioner3) I would prefer the rooms to be cleaned a bit earlier so we wouldn't have to wait when we came back at around 3-4PM4) the location is a bit further from the city and we had to call a car every time we wanted to go out but generally it was ok
