Hotel Casa Mexicana

Is close to stores, restaurants and general this a great place to stay ,I add one more night.

,the mattress was not even ,only one bed the other one was good

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location is excellent — close to everything and very convenient for exploring the area. The staff were all friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. The breakfast was also a nice touch — simple but tasty and a great way to start the day. Highly recommended!

It takes a few minutes to get hot water in the shower

Hot and cold water was available outside the room for drinking and hot tea. Beautiful plants and pond. The restaurant opened at 7:00 AM and the food was good. Great location!

No Heaters, room and restaurant were cold.

The hotel is lovely with the classic colonial architecture and with a pretty indoor garden. The room was comfy, spacious and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The internet connection was better than any other place I have stayed in San Cristóbal.

The bathroom was pretty small and was not as clean as I expected. The dryer didn't work properly and had mold inside it. Finally, it is not located on one of the main streets of the downtown and it is farther than expected from it.

The hotel is right in the center.It’s an old building but comfortable, if I ever come back again I will stay at same hotel.

Just the smell of drainage in the bathroom

Nice building with lush internal courtyard gardens that make for a pretty view from the room! Location is great, just off one of the main pedestrian axes and easily walkable to everywhere we needed to get to while being very quiet and peaceful. Quite an 'old school' hotel atmosphere (decor, set up etc.) which we enjoyed.

Bathroom was small, dark (window gave on to an internal shaft) and occasionally wafted bad smells from the drain but we didn't find this to be much of a problem especially keeping the door to the room closed.

Great location. Central to everything.The staff and management are super friendly and helpful.Comfortable beds and very quiet.

No breakfast included which is fine as there are plenty of place close by for that.A complimentary coffee would be a nice touch.In April it can be very hot but the room had no fan. The upstairs room cooled down by midnight so it was okay but a fan would go a long way.

That we stayed in their other building while our reservation was for interior green space location. Apparently it is being renovated…..

Hotel is nice, a kind of hacienda with a lovely patio. Good location.

Rooms and bathroom need renovation. Hot water took 15 min to come after leaving the water running. The old tv was nos working properly. The room was close to the street and the acoustic insulation of the room was poor.

Nice small room, view to the banana-garden, good hot shower, warm blankets, nice and friendly staff -all in all good value for the money. Great location.

You hear the steps in the room above and everything happening in the yard. Hotel was not so busy when we staied, so it was ok.

Friendly, very accommodating, great tour options.. We took 3 tours across 4 days.. and the restaurant was delicious as well. I recommend the club sandwich.

The location and first impressions of this hotel were great. The foyer and eating area are lovely.

Our room (number 16) was directly opposite the stairs (there is no elevator) and people were constantly coming and going at all times of day and night and were always talking very loudly and banging suitcases around as they reach the top of the stairs. This happend all through the night.There is No sign saying "Please be Quite" which we found in other hotels and is helpful as people may not realise that there are guests located in rooms so close to the stairs. There is no airconditioning or fans in the rooms, however, the room was not hot even though the outside tempreture was very warm so it was ok. The WiFi is Terrible!! We could not use our credit card to make payments because the Wifi even in the foyer and bar area is so bad! Car parking is located a couple of blocks away. Overall, a great location but average stay.
