    Pros +

    • It was clean, staff were friendly, the beach and pools were lovely
    • Staff and customer is exceptional; activities for all ages; gorgeous property!
    • Even this hotel has 30 YO, it has been kept really well. Everything is nice and shiny.

    Cons -

    • We paid for the included breakfast- the restaurant staff seemed confused by this and refused to give us the free buffet. We argued with management on day one and gave up after that. Overall food prices here were super high- $15 margaritas!
    • Room 1802, where we were the first night, is a very misleading place to put customers who booked a king studio with an Ocean VIEW. We were moved to 1533 for our second and third night, which was beautiful & met expectations. Overall great experience !
    • An all inclusive option might be preferable as actual food service is not necessarily cost effective

    Location

We Book a Room With With a sea view and what we got was good luck to the parking lot of the employees when we went to the front desk they told us be thankful that we give you that room with the money that you pay The lady in charge that day at 22:00 was very racist. And she tried very hard to make clear to us again to be thankful because she’s letting us stay in that property and we clearly look that we don’t belong there. I called genius support, but actually booking did nothing either.

It was clean and looked very nice, but I asked for a ocean view room and yes all rooms face the ocean but we got a view of the hotel next door to us and all there workers going in and out all I woke up to was a green lawn and way off to the distance was the ocean, i called every day and night to asked to be moved and of course the answer was no. I expected and paid for a ocean view room, not a partial ocean view.

I had requested and paid for a ocean view room, which supposedly all the rooms faced the ocean. My room was off to the side where I seen a green lawn and a lot of workers from the other hotel going in and out and off to the distance was the ocean, but I would not consider that ocean view room Requested to be transferred to a different room with the ocean view because that is what I paid for and had requested

Didn’t have breakfast but …the room first given at resort was unwanted …a room looking at a wall and not the beach , for the cost of resort was unacceptable, it wasn’t until complaining..was the room changed after a day or more…unacceptable….a wall instead of a beach look….hopefully this will not happen to anyone else…..

Unbelievable location and views, great food in the resort, rooms were spacious

No hot water in our shower and ac wasn’t working - they addressed both. Also got placed in a room on the side of the mountain next to it so the ocean front view was restricted by about half. Still stunning but not what we expected

    Well maintained. Desirable location.

Huge! Takes a long time to walk to things.

This is an exceptional property and experience. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. It is peaceful, yet with plenty to do if you want to be active. It is gorgeous and spotlessly clean. As someone who tends to stay at The Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton, this Westin property is right up there with the best. You just don't need to worry about a thing during your stay. Wander around freely in a swimsuit and flip flops. Get whatever you need whenever you need it, without worrying about carrying any cash. This is the very definition of luxury and relaxation. Well worth it.

The only thing I didn't like was the coffee maker and the coffee. And perhaps a better fabric softener for the towels and robes would be nice.

The resort is beautiful, the staff was excellent . Be prepared to walk long distances from parking to your room., all outdoors. When the weather is nice, this is fine, but in 100° heat it was sweltering.

We were very surprised that for a resort of this size and price, there was not a whole filtration system for the water. We had to bring our own water in, or boil the tapwater for use. rather inconvenient, and quite a ways to Howlette in from parking.

The staff at the Westin was amazing! So kind and warm. Each person you speak to is cheerful and happy to help. They made the stay welcoming and accommodating!

The food fell a bit short for our 3 night stay. I really appreciated the market with the snack and food options available to take to your room or heat up in the microwave. However, the other food at the actual restaraunt was alright… I ordered chicken, steak, pasta, etc., wouldn’t say it was great.

staff and service were great! The beach was absolutely gorgeous. Good food and drinks at the bars.

It felt very empty even though they were apparently sold out. Restaurants were all very much alike. no character or originality.

    6brianPosted on: 11-5-2022

The team around beachside including pool and restaurants were excellent - in particular Axel and Marco as entertainment hosts and Mario and Riccardo in general. They should be asked to train the reception team! The food was really good and service excellent also.

Our arrival was very poor - reception is so far from the hotel itself that they seem completely out of touch. The reception manager gave us the worst 2 bed villa 'with ocean view' in the entire hotel (almost lower ground floor) and then claimed to be full so not able to move us - until I pointed out I was on my laptop looking at available rooms on their website! Even then it took 5 hours - until 9.30 pm - and a huge amount of effort to be moved to a decent room - a real shame with young children....

Extremely clean, well maintained grounds, flexible housekeeping staff. The ocean view was outstanding. Baja Pointe restaurant is a must. The layout of the pools and friendly/helpful staff.

No bathrooms close to the pool area, we had to walk up the stairs several times while enjoying the relaxing pool. Restaurant prices were a bit a high. Be prepared to walk up and down stairs if you plan yo enjoy the pools.

They clean the rooms every third day!!Cockroaches everywhere!!

No cleaning of the room and they didn’t change the pillow covers

    10CalvertPosted on: 6-13-2022

that it was clean and not a ton of people there. Everyone was pleasant.

the food could be better . wanted more of the authentic Mexican food and not so Americanized .. like the steak tacos , they use flank steak. Also the hot water in the rooms were not hot as they should be .

    clean, exceptional view, friendly staff

it took a minute to learn the property, it’s very big
