Friendly service, beautiful pool design/decor

Quality of the rooms were not worth the price. Restaurant was closed during my stay that I was not made aware of.

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Free WiFi. Pet Friendly! Closet to several wineries. Breakfast by the pool was delicious.

The staff was fantastic, from the drivers to the front of house. Always ready to help and make sure we had what we needed. I can't wait to go back.

Small and not greatly important - but a small in room fridge and a microwave - due to the Pods being isolated. But honestly with a little planning - these would not be an issue, and I understand the need to make each Pod as self contained and efficient as possible.

It’s a different concept, but you have to know about it, it’s not easy to get around but a romantic experience

You are kind of trap at your room, you need to bring your bell for FOR EVERYTHING, they come quick but your isolated on a tiny room that doesn’t have nothing, almost no privacy with the restroom, good for quality time with your couple. Be very careful with the weather, it’s very important to make the most of your stay here, also try not to eat, they are better experiences in the surroundings not as expensive

This venue is gorgeous. And the staff were exceptionally helpful.

There was no TV or music in the Room. There were no refrigerator in the room to keep anything cold. The restaurant closed at 5 and by the time I checked in there was nothing available to eat without leaving. For the price they are charging it fell short.

Really dark and hard to find

Restaurant and bar was closed and no room service. Our room heater wasn’t working and our bathroom door was also broken

Nice views, pool/jacuzzi, contemporary, staff and commute.

Setting, quiet and location.

Heater broken in AM and we were freezing. They provided additional small heaters. Windows in room not closings properly room very cold and sink not cleaned properly.

The staff was SUPER friendly and went out of there way to make our stay great. It was super cold and raining a lot during our stay and they were VERY nice, provided transportation to a restaurant and even brought breakfast to our room due to the weather conditions. Beautiful view! The hotel has a lot of potential but the rooms URGENTLY need maintenance or a renovation, especially the bathrooms.

Bathrooms are old and rusty, therefore don’t look too clean. We had very bad luck and had a lot of rain and very cold weather during our stay, so it is not the ideal hotel to stay in. I can really see the potential of the hotel, its concept, surroundings, etc. but it was too expensive for the how the rooms are right now. With a quick renovation it will be definitely be worth your money.

The staff were friendly and professional. The ride up to the rooms was fun. The restaurant and pool were beautiful. The location was convenient to visit nearby wineries.

It was unseasonably cool. The space heater was a little challenged to warm the room. Sink was discolored by water oxidation. Could have used more power outlets.

Great private rooms, the pool and food are just perfect.

You can listen to other guests in the radio, you should put telephones instead.

The location venue, food and service was excellent.We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely do it again.

The VIEW IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! THE STAFF IS AWESOME AND ALWAYS HELPFUL/SMILING! We were disappointed to find the oyster bar and lobby restaurant closed. We had no notification of these facilites being closed. The weather was very cold and although the area by the pool was wonderful, it would have been great to have a place to gather indoors as it is not feasible in the rooms. Chef Andres was spectacular. The cuisine and bakery/breads were unbeatable. I would HIGHLY recommend the restaurant TOBA even if you are not staying at the hotel.

no amenities. main restaurant and wine closed. no one told me. overpriced Rooms and food $85.00 for a dozen Oysters. No Refrigerator or Coffee Maker in room. Bad service in pool Restaurant. Would never go back

Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is way overrated. It is very expensive for its quality and its service level. Rooms are ok but nothing special, the best thing they have might be the view but in our case we got a room that didn’t have a good view. And though the staff was super friendly and helpful the service lacks the little details that make your stay special. I wouldn’t recommend people to pay what they charge for this hotel as we stayed in others in the area that were less expensive and had more to offer.

Amazing stay at Encuentro Guadalupe. Incredible views, lovely pool and jacuzzi area, top-notch cuisine at the restaurant. No doubt the highlight of our trip.

Very expensive, both the hotel and the restaurant - but it easily is the most luxurious, iconic hotel in el Valle.

The Food was AMAZING! The chef was attentive and went out of his way to make sure we were happy! The staff was lovely. The rooms were small and not a comfortable place to sit besides the bed. The outdoor chimney was clutch!

I would have rated this place SIGNIFICANTLY better IF the pool had been heated! That is insane to pay 500$ a night for a room, be there in February during a heat wave-85 degree day- and have a pool that was literally equivalent to an ice bath.
