Pros +
- The staff is very friendly and helpful. And I enjoyed every small piece of their promotional papers talking about local specialized dishes and recommended happy hour recipes. I love the wide range of choices over pillow! I feel like my sleep quality has been much improved during the stay.
- Good location. Evening staff are very helpful and pleasant. I always stayed at Super Hotel Lohas Tokyo station and it was always very pleasant stay. This is the first time I tried to stay at this facility nearby hakata station.
- Always a good value, great room with a great breakfast. Close enough to Hakata station.
Cons -
- Some staff just not helpful at all. Even if she dosn't speak English, she could still be nice and at least we could try to communicate through Google translate. But disappointedly, she was staring at me like she is an AI and I didn't input the right insteuction. My bathroom smelled like an untried towel hanging there for a month. I had to keep spraying the fresher when I used it. The ceiling right above my bed had a water leaking sign that they don't care to patch it up. Generally, a bad stay - maybe just too many coincidences for me to handle.
- Noisy guests in hallways on weekends unfortunately.
- Small space room :) That I know before booking.

The Onsen was very clean and great to relax after a day out. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the breakfast.
Location - You can walk shortly from Hakata station.Reasonable price for hotel that has public bath.Park 2000 yen per night at in front of hotel
Small space room :) That I know before booking.
The request of changing the room was instantly accepted with top up fee by staff.
The size of the room is rather small and I am not even able to open a large sized luggage.
Free welcome bar and natural hot spring. Many free toiletries to choose from. Affordable rooms. Economical breakfast.
A little far from train station. Rooms are cramped.
Decently priced. Welcome bar with good selection of drinks! Laundry is cheap and efficient.
Very cramped rooms. Have to walk a distance to the train station.
Welcome bar, breakfast buffet, nice staff
This Super Hotel checks all of the boxes. It’s a quiet, no smoking hotel with great beds, not far from Hakata Station, affordable with a great breakfast and coin laundry. We will be back again in a month!
Nothing, no wonder it’s often sold out.
Location (10 mins to Hakata station), very helpful and English speaking staff, an exceptional range of amenities (including a choice of pillows!), onsen for travel tiredness, good range at breakfast (featuring many local produce) and also open bar drinks until 9pm (including their own homemade fruit flavoured vodka and liqueur).
Rooms are a bit small (hardly enough space to open suitcase flat) but that’s typical of Japanese hotel rooms in central locations. The walls are a little thin too (can hear coughing next door). Check out is earlier than other hotels (at 10am).
Location: Super near the main Hakata station for JR lines so getting around was super easy, shops were nearby and plenty of kombini and restaurants for food.Rooms: Small but worked amazingly. The bed was super comfortable and you could choose however many pillows you wanted to the exact firmness. Rooms came with a Yukata to wear during your stay instead of pyjamas which was just that extra bit more fun for a westerner. The room was controlled by a tablet with smart home capabilities so you could view the status of laundry or onsen while also setting scenes and choosing specifics for the lights or AC in your language.Services: Free alcohol drinks in the afternoon were a nice touch, check-in was SMOOTH-like super quick and you get given a code to enter your room so no fuss with losing a card. Checkout was just bin the code for the room and leave on time. Staff spoke som English and the rooms had blazing-fast wifi. I wish I booked more from this chain.
The standard twin size room I stayed at was very spacous, new and clean.
Really nothing bad I can comment on with my stay except the location is a bit far from the Hakata station, but there's a nearby bus station only two stops away from Hakata station which compensates this disadvantage.
Great breakfast, location, hot spring, and friendly staff!
I like everything!
Close to Hakata station, good breakfast included, small but comfortable rooms
The Irish Pub near the station was rubbish ??
This is more of a business hotel, so the rooms are tiny and cramped, with everything controlled by a tablet. But we didn't come to Fukuoka to stay in our room. The room was clean, with nice amenities, and the bath was nice. The free evening drinks were okay, not great, but what was surprising was the very good breakfast buffet at the hotel. It's also well situated for getting to Hakata Station and exploring the area.
We could complain about the tiny room, but really, for the price, we don't feel like complaining. We really enjoyed our stay in Fukuoka and the fact that most western tourists never come here.
Received an upgrade to a larger room upon arrival rather late in the evening. Simple and fast check-in. Easy to reach from Incheon airport. Very nice café close by where you can get a good breakfast and coffee while waiting for your flight.
The room hadn't been cleaned! I am not referring to the water and other stains nor even the smell of cigarette smoke, but to the cigarette ashes in the bathtub and on the floor. Surfaces were sticky so my friend cleaned the table with one of the towels. Looked like the table hadn't been cleaned in a while... Only one set of towels was provided for two guests.
I like everything that the hotel has to offer. Can pick up extra pillows by yourself. There are pajamas and skincare products to choose from. Pick up by yourself every day.
The room is very small
clean room
breakfast not so much things. many wine for guests choose only. no suitable for child.
very good staff, good location, everything is so good, and the tea/drink time in the evening is also really enjoyable
