Pros +
- The location was great.
- It was well within walking distance from Hakata Train Station and close to Canal City Mall.
- The location is good. It is easily accessible by subway. It is close to many attractions and shopping in Fukuoka.
Cons -
- There was only one chair in the room. The bottom bed had a 2x4 down the center that we kept banging our heads on.
- Space was very limited even before storing souvenirs from my sightseeing. The walls were painfully thin to the point where I could tell there were new residents next door and hearing the karaoke bar at night.
- The rooms are not acceptable by Japanese standard. The hotel rooms in Japan are tiny in general. But this one goes beyond normal. The room we are assigned is so small that the tiny bed is right against window, with an exit door (locked) at the foot, and only a two-foot space on one side. Air ducts and pipes are exposed on the ceiling. This is a no-manager hotel. There is no front desk. Check in is on the pads located at the common room. There is no on-site manager to talk to. You need to use the pad in the room if you needed any help. The check in time is 4pm, so do expect a line of people waiting at the check in pads by that time. The location is good. But you are paying hotel price for a hostel room. There are plenty of other choices around. Not recommended.

Location was decent.
The hotel is unmanned which is fine however the facilities were unkept with people’s luggage being left all over the place. There was even luggage in the elevator which we had to take out so we could use the elevator. The rooms were much smaller and older than advertised from the photos but even worse they were dirty. The sink was filthy, there was duct tape on the walls and our air conditioning wasn’t working. When we called to ask about the air conditioning they told us that it was working and were hostile about it when they clearly turned a switch on remotely and we called them out on it.
Excellent location
Some guests were loud. Children running around in corridors
The view from my room was outstanding, also how close the hotel was to the heart of Fukuoka was very convenient; there was no need for a taxi, everything was in walking distance.
I was not pleased with the cleanliness of my room, the cleanliness of the room alone would cause me to second guess staying at this hotel again.
The location was amazing! Right next to the night life. The room was also great! Plenty of space.
The accommodations were clean and uncomplicated, and the fact that refreshments were included in the cost was a pleasant extra.Since the lights across the river remain on and change throughout the night, it would be fantastic to have blackout drapes in addition to the shades.Given the noise from the surrounding pubs and late-night partygoers, the earplugs that were provided were really beneficial.
Terrible. Room was uninhabitable. Had to reserve a room in another hotel. Still waiting for my money back.
Long wait to check in. No staff on site. Air conditioner broken in room. Blinds broken in room. Room was an oven: 29 degrees Celsius. We had to book another hotel. We were promised a refund but still haven’t received it. They told us we had to request a refund via Booking.com. I did that. But still no refund. I have lost confidence in booking.com. No one should ever book a room in that hotel. I am now using Expedia and have stopped using booking.com because of this terrible experience. I want my money back, without further delay.
Location - while it's Hakata side you just cross the river and it's already Tenjin area. Near a station, Ichiran HQ, arcade, malls, Donki, lots of restaurants and konbinis, Yatai stalls. Our room was spacious enough for our luggages to fit as well since we are 3 pax with a baby. We like that there's a sofa and table. Very comfortable beds. We like the toilet & shower area. We like the room design and aesthetic.Hotel chat quick to respond.
Elevator - the carpet isn't always clean so sometimes it smelled weird inside. No drop off area outside building but only because we rode Uber most of the time. Not a problem if you take the train or just walk.Always ran out of trash bags on our floor.
Ideally located within walking distance of major attractions between Tenjin and Hakata, it offers stunning views along the Hakata River, especially in the evening when the atmosphere is truly captivating—both vibrant and relaxing.
The room was reasonably suitable for a family of five. However, it lacked a comfortable table and chairs, and the couch was visibly stained and not well-maintained. The pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable, and our request for extra pillows was unsuccessful. Additionally, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, making the room slightly stuffy. Fortunately, we were able to communicate with the staff through the in-room tablet, and they promptly adjusted the air conditioning for us.
The hotel was a bit dirty for Japan standards. Very worn. And the couch had Disgusting stains on it! The door did not have a lock.... but the bathroom door had an extreme lock ( see pictures). Check in was a breeze and check out.
Check in beforehand was easy and just scan the QR code. The hotel is well situated and has a convenience store by the entrance. Room is pretty large.
Sofa was stained and uncomfortable. The bathroom smells bad. Limited privacy as gaps between blinds and no blackout curtain.
Our room was quite big for 4 people and the location was great. There’s a lot of restaurants around the hotel which was quite positive. The atmosphere in the evening is really good. I really enjoyed the environment and the available entertainment.
I think the overall appeal of the property can be improved. We found the couch in our property was not clean with stain marks, this was really unappealing for us. The aircon in our room was not working so the room got quite stuffy with four people.
Clean, insanely good location, amazing view on 7th floor. Any floor does the job
No staff, complicated check-in experience if not used to pre-checkin method
the check in procedure and the ability to secure your luggage
the cleanliness in the kitchen/check in area could improve.
No staff to interact with (self check in/out). Only stayed a night so didn’t use shared kitchen facilities, but I think it’s great thing to have access to.
The was a bit of a smell (sewage/poopy?) that was subtle on arrival but lingered for the duration of my stay.
Location, clean, fits large groups
Pillows uncomfortable, not much room to sit, bunks are very loud from beneath
Though the hotel is self check. They do have a room where you can lock up your luggage. They also have a laundry machine you can use.
My room happened to be more than a little Dusty along the windows
It was unusual to have no staff on site. Self check-in using a tablet. Checkout from your room using the tablet.
