Richmond Hotel Tenjin Nishi-Dori

The hotel was located in the busy shopping area which is very convenient to roaming around malls and restaurant. There is a microwave, vending machine, ice machine and water refilling machine which is very convenient. Staff is very friendly and serve well. From the hotel to airport by taxi cost about 2000-3000yen.

A room is a bit small which is typical in Japan. Room corridor might be a bit small that i cant fully open my luggage but do understandable.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and the location was excellent — very accessible to shops, cafes, and key spots around the city. Highly recommended for convenience and comfort!

Overall, I didn’t have any major dislikes during my stay. Everything went smoothly.

The hotel lobby staff were great as well as the ladies in the restaurant for breakfast.

The elevators were quite slow, otherwise it was a great stay.

Check-in problem with 2 rooms, 2 adult 3 children (1 below 10yr old). At booking app, no problem. Upon arrival, they want to charge an additional 32,000.00 yen. After about 10 minutes of discussion, they let us through w/o additional payment.

duvets were too thick, air conditioning outlet was pointed directly at the head of the bed giving me headache.Special mention to room cleaning staff who did their jobs well.

Location is great!!! Less than 5 mins walks to department stores near by. Good for someone who loves shopping. Transportation is also good, easy to go out to country side. Breakfast is simple but yum.

Lifts are small, and had to wait to get on during rush hours.

The room is surprisingly big and is located at the center of Fukuoka, just a few steps to walk to Tenjin underground street and many shopping malls and restaurants here.

5mins walk from train station. Hotel is very clean, with family mart, eateries and a shopping mall nearby. Very good location.

As usual, double rooms are smaller and narrow which is quite standard in Japan. Also when pulling our luggages to the hotel from train station, the route was a little tough and not easy to push our luggage, making the 5 mins walk a little longer.

The location is ideal for exploring Tenjin. One of the better Richmond Hotels Ive stayed in. Very friendly staff.

Room was a little old-fashioned and quite small.

It was at the center of everything. very close to the subway station. When you go out of the hotel, you can find a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It was also very alive even late at night. You can also find an ichiran across the hotel. 10-15 minutes walk to nakasu area to explore.
