Hotel Etwas Tenjin

Close to Tenjin station and shopping place but far enough to not get so busy.

During my stay in October, price is quite high compared to other months.

The room seemed clean but was musty, a stark contrast to the lobby and hall areas, which had a lovely aroma. The air conditioning unit was extremely noisy (making it difficult to sleep) and needed cleaning. The mold was quite visible

The location was perfect, close to the Tenjin Shikatetsu and all the shopping center. The check-in and check-out was not complicated too.

The bed and the pillow was too uncomfortable. The breakfast is variety but doesn't taste good at all.

Easy check in , nice staff, complimentary tea/coffee, easy to find & local shops close by

Our room faced the street and there was a club that had people yahooing at 3 am waking us up. The beds are very very firm , woke up sore every day. Ok for some just not is .

It was good

Beds were a bit hard, you could feel the springs. The mattress topper didn’t help much.

Great location, clean and comfy. Staff are very friendly, too.

Staff so nice and friendly, Room and toilet are clean. Location near Tenjin station takes around 4-5 minutes walk (Mina exit). And have a housekeeper came to clean everyday ! (You can put do not disturb sign if you don’t want housekeeper clean your room but they will still put a new towel and pajamas in front of your room !)

Pretty cheap, and also very close to the heart of Tenjin.

Not that many availability for rooms.

Good buffet breakfast. Location is acceptable, not bad. Overall is ok.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had!The level of seafood bowls exceeded my imagination.

Bathrooms and washrooms are not well cleaned.

Excellent breakfast. Good location, easy to access public transportation, and very close to supermarkets and duty-free stores. Nice lobby and professional receptionists.

Some low-frequency noise at night from the other end of the street. A trade-off between convenience and sleep quality.

Location & the seafood restaurant attached ( next ) to the hotel - very fresh seafood . We could eat in or take away ( out) anytime

Bed mattress was little hard

You can send your luggage to the hotel at by CARGO PASS Airporter's service at Fukuoka Airport, so comvenient. The staff of the hotel treated us so nicely.

The size of the room is quite narrow.

The location is a little bit far from central of Tenjin 10 minute by walk but near the famous ramen Shin Shin and Familymart. The good thing is you can walk to Aeon mall around 10 minute too and there have a discount food at underground floor at 7-9 pm.

Clean with basic necessities. Hotel is also very conveniently located. Just 6 min walk from Tenjin station.

Can get a bit noisy at night if you open the hotel window because there is a night club nearby downstairs.

Everything looked exactly like it did in the pictures online. Also, the staff was courteous and very helpful.

The walls were thin, so I could hear the other guests. Also, there was a sound like running water that kept going at night. Not sure what the cause was, but it made it hard to sleep without earplugs.

controlling the air conditioning unit is difficult because some of the labels on the controller were worn off.

the hotel was good , the lobby was interesting and staff was very cute and cooperative with my needs !

the bathroom was a little small

Overall, I liked the location and the staff was great, but I will not be returning because of the beds. :-(And just to say it again...I really liked the staff!

the hotel is on a tucked away street in a central location which was great, but across from it was a bar that was loud most nights...AND DURING COVID. Made it difficult to sleep- and on that note re: difficulty sleeping, I had the worst sleep of my life (no exaggeration) here because of the bed. The bed was too hard (like sleeping on the floor). I had to fold the duvet to sleep on it for some comfort. The restless night caused me to have neck stiffness for three days. The staff was nice and provided a pillow and blanket when I asked. - breakfast was pretty basic but still appreciated
