    Pros +

    • Location was good and staff were professional and courteous. The coffee machine was very high tech!
    • This hotel is very close to the Gion train station exits (2 and 6 I think). It’s convenient for travel to Hakata, Tenjin, and Fukuoka Airport. You get fresh towels, robes, and slippers, daily, and there’s actually an ice machine and a laundry machine downstairs. It was all very convenient and I would absolutely stay here again.
    • The room was very nice. Good furnishings and the location was excellent. Walking distance to Hakata station which is the main station in Fukuoka and there’s a closer subway station (Gion) as well. The airport is also about 10-15 minutes by train. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

    Cons -

    • The floor above the reception had heaters blowing at full blast all day and night, even when the outside temp was already in the 90s. Worse, because the room A/C shuts off when your card leaves the room, every time coming back the room was uncomfortably warm and I couldn't risk leaving stuff out that could melt or spoil. I asked the staff and they apologized that they couldn't turn off the heaters. I felt sorry for whoever has to clean the rooms, the heat would be unbearable.
    • I had no real issues with this property. I wanted to open the window, but it caused a really loud whistling noise so I didn’t in order not to disturb myself or others. But if that’s the worst thing, you can see why I can recommend this hotel lol.

Loved my one-night stay at this property. The room size was just perfect for a solo traveler but could have also accommodated two people. The room was clean and also had all the advertised amenities. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. I arrived before check-in time and they stored my luggage for free while I went to explore the city.Hotel location is great, walking distance from Gion Station which is the same line connecting the airport and Hakata Station.I had a great time in Fukuoka, such an underrated city!

    No complaints.

    10SabrinaPosted on: 4-4-2025

Size of room was great for more than one person. Facilities great. Very comfortable bedding on tatami. Private onsen was perfect.

    9SabrinaPosted on: 4-2-2025

Location is really close to Gion Station and Tochoji Temple. For a single person, the room was really spacious. Enough space to leave my luggage open, and I really liked that the shower had a tub and curtain separate from the rest of the bathroom (more modern unlike other traditional Japanese bathrooms).

Everything was up to par! I was happy.

This hotel has an excellent location! It’s close to stations, and surrounded by many tourist spots and restaurants, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Despite being so central, it’s not located on the main street, so the surroundings are quiet and peaceful—a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The stay was comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere after a day of sightseeing.

the front desk is very friendly and polite.there is air purifier and humidifier in the room, which is really functional in the winter

room is not very spacious (normal Japanese hotel room size)probably not enough for two adult.

    10MeiPosted on: 1-17-2025

I really like this hotel because it has an independent air conditioning system. During winter, many hotels with central heating can feel too warm. However, with the independent AC here, I can easily adjust it to cooling or heating as I like. Plus, they provide a humidifier, so even when using the cooling mode in winter, there's no need to worry about dryness. The staff is helpful and nice. There's a washing machine in the lobby—only one, but it works well and has a door lock feature for security.

The hairdryer would be perfect if it had a higher power capacity.

    - Location is perfect in the peaceful neighborhood close to subway Gion station and I could even walk to Hakata station from the hotel (it's not that very far plus the pavement there is really nice to walk on) - Room is very clean and big enough for one person - Staffs were helpful staff and with smile every time I walked pass them- I really like the coffee making and ice making machines on the first floor that you can get drinks and ice for free anytime you like

    Everything was great !

    8ChristinePosted on: 12-4-2024

The room was spacious and clean. Hotel's location is good as well because there it's close to many bus stops, train station and interesting local mom and pop shops. I also liked that they have the eco-friendly policy for room making.

The shower curtain smells a little of mildew, but this is probably hard to avoid considering cost of changing the curtains often.

    8LorenzoPosted on: 11-15-2024

This is a very nice hotel, which is great when you are most of the day out for work or sightseeing. The rooms are essential but tidy and clean. The bathroom is clean. The personnel very kind and available for any question.

    Nothing really. All good.

    9LeePosted on: 10-10-2024

The staff were really nice, the place is close to the station. The bed is comfortable & they even give you a bottle of mineral water. A nice touch.

There only 1 laundry machine available

    10LorenzoPosted on: 10-6-2024

Central Town, quite zone, electronic access to every floor and room, restaurant next door.

    8TimPosted on: 9-30-2024

The location, being one stop from Hakata station was very convenient. It's easily walkable but the subway is an option as well. The room was well appointed..There's plenty of eating places nearby and it's not too far to walk to the river,

The wifi kept dropping out, particularly in the evening

    10ChengPosted on: 9-20-2024

The desk in the room very large and convenient, and the spacious floor allows for a big suitcase to fully opened. The hotel is located near the subway, bus station, shrine, and shopping street, and you can also walk to Nakasu and Hakata. Even if I return to the hotel late, the staff always kindly says, "Welcome back," which feels very warm for someone traveling alone.

    10EllenPosted on: 8-30-2024

Clean, surprisingly spacious room, and very friendly staff!

    8JasonPosted on: 8-17-2024

Great location, clean rooms with all the necessary amenities. Staff were exceptionally friendlyFree coffee in the lobby for all guests

The room would be small for more than 1 guest. It is the perfect size for solo travelers.

    10YannickPosted on: 8-2-2024

Very professionnal staff. Clean and confortable room. Close to Hakata Station and Ferry terminal.

    No smart TV.

    10KPosted on: 7-8-2024

This is a great and highly recommended hotel for solo travelers and business travelers. Rooms are clean and amenities are changed daily, although cleaning is not daily. There are only a few rooms per floor, so I had a comfortable stay with no noise. The staff is friendly and helpful.
