    • Awesome place! Nice, clean, great staff and quite convenient location very close to Hakata station, shopping and dining places. Canal City itself is very good shopping center with lots of brands and dining options.
    • I lived all of it! But the staff was impressively kind and welcoming
    • Everything was VERY CLEAN

    Cons -

    • The lobby smells cigarette smoke all the time
    • The heat was on and I had to. Rack the window to cool the room down.
    • Wasn’t the cleanest (room) and the breakfast buffet (paid extra) wasn’t the best either. We barely ate anything there

The location is the best! 10minute walk from a major train station AND connected to a mall, hard to beat that

Wasn’t the cleanest (room) and the breakfast buffet (paid extra) wasn’t the best either. We barely ate anything there

Room was great! Perfect size for a single traveler

Somethings were a little outdated but were functional

    1LindseyPosted on: 12-24-2025

    Location was good.

Walls and carpet were dirty and musty. A/C did not work.

The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Canal City and downtown. It can't get any better

The rooms and hotel itself are HOT. Even with AC on max, it doesn't cool the room down in any way unfortunately. Your best bet is to keep the windows open, but they place music and do water shows fairly loudly from 8am until almost 10pm, so be warned. If the rooms could be cooled efficiently, it would have been a much more enjoyable stay

The location is superb, right next to the Canal City mall. The room size is a standard Japanese size which is a bit compact for two people yet there is still a space to open my two medium size luggages

The bed size is a bit too small for two people. I'm 5"2 and my teenager son is 5"6. I think it wouldn't fit for two westerners people with way bigger size than us

    7MariaPosted on: 6-11-2025

It was accessible on both sides. I could hang out at the mall late knowing the hotel was connected to it.

I had an early flight. And the staff told me they couldn’t reserve a taxi for me so I asked “what should I do?” (Because I usually stay at Hyatt grand and I do get a taxi) and they just shrugged. The morning of my check out (5:30 am) it was raining so hard. And I asked the front desk where would I get a taxi and he told me to walk around the corner for about a block. Eventually, I called a taxi service myself - at the lobby and a taxi came for me. No one even helped me bring my luggage to the taxi in the rain. I was so disappointed by the customer service. However, the room service was wonderful. I always came back to a clean room.

couldnt give us a second key card for our room when we checked in which meant coordinating when we were both out in different locations was really rough. the lobby smelt super strongly of cigarettes bc the smoking room was a little room off the lobby with really poor ventilation. and there was SUPER loud shows going on outside until late which made napping impossible.

    Accessible to everything you need.

We stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had an uncomfortable experience. The room was really hot, and there was no way to cool it down. There was no air conditioning available because, according to the front desk, the system is centralized and they don’t turn on the AC when it’s still cold outside. However, the room was already very warm, and since the windows couldn’t be opened wide, no cool air could come in either. The heater was turned off, but the room remained uncomfortably hot throughout our stay

Great location. The building is old and it is visible, but still well kept. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Shampoo, conditioner and face wash and toothbrushes in the room and other amenities available for free. We had a window in our room where we could see some of the water fountain show from Canal City.

The room was very cramped. Having a plug for usb chargers in the room might be nice, but it's not a necessity. The shower was a little unsteady, but warm enough with good pressure so not too bad.

    Very bad

I m totally disliked this hotel Super old No plug for charger nearby the bedOnly one next to the super old style tv The room temperature can’t work and we change room and open the window over the night to sleep but noisy ? I will not book Washington hotel again.

Location was good and very central.

Car park is diagonally opposite the hotel and will need to unload luggage first before going to the carpark. Will need to find the way to the hotel from the basement carpark.Wifi is not very good. Keeps getting disconnected.

The location is good. It convenient because it just next to shopping mall. But some of the staff is not so friendly and helpful.

    9SanonPosted on: 9-28-2024

Close to the mall and city center. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

Did not have a non- smoking room like we reserved. The room also felt outdated and the bathroom didn’t look to be thoroughly clean.
