Natural Hot Spring Yaoji Hakata Hotel

Convenient, close to the rail station.

Location near major bus route, close to train station, shopping and eateries. Soothing public bath.

Too many towels & robes! Kept receiving them even though rooming cleaning wasn't daily.

Good sized room and bathroom. Great location not far from the station. Polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast with lovely view out over street and trees.

Walkable to Hakata station (7 minutes). Small but functionable hot spring included in the price. Convenience stall and izakaya right beside the hotel. Bus stop is also a minute walk away.

The interior of the hotel is a little old. The hot spring is small and not really that great. Overall, i feel that you would be able to get a more modern hotel for a better/similar price elsewhere. Probably will not stay here again unless the price is better.

Check in was courteous and friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious. The area was quiet, being one block from a main street.

It is confusing entering the property on the ground floor to find there is no reception there, and no clear signage to reception on the first floor.

Washing machine is available, but it only accept 100 JP coin

I think the onsen have smell like swimming pool. I mean chlorine smell

We stayed 2 nights. The location is very good where you can get good restaurant within walking distance of 10-15 minutes where we got motsu nabe and a BBQ steak restaurant which is good. It take 15-20 minutes leisure walk to Canal City from the hotel. The car park is just next block linked at level 3 backdoor direct to the hotel lobby which is very convenient. The parking charge is 1500 yen per night exceeding 12 hours if you pay at the front desk but may cost 2200+ yen if pay at exit point. The hotel staff would calculate for you which is a cheaper option to pay at hotel or exit, if you ask them. Downstairs next block has a family mart where you can get some groceries if you like. The hotspring is just downstairs at ground level which has a few bath pools free for hotel guests.The staffs are helpful and friendly though with limited english communication. If you like hotspring, this is a good place to stay which is convenient. Overall l would consider and recommend this hotel.

The room is clean but a bit small, especially the bed is too small for 2 persons which is not comfortable to have a good rest. Room size is a bit small if you have 3 luggages. You get your daily toiletries at the front desk.

Only had one pillow which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep

Great location (v near Hakata JR station), onsen facilities, a health & extensive breakfast spread but most important of all, the receptions were so helpful! One wrote a Japanese text meant for the taxi driver at my request, another printed a map (without my request) to show the driver my desired destination!

The hotel is a short walk from Hakata Station, which was great for us as we arrived by Shinkansen. Good value for money. Breakfast was varied and good value. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. They were prepared for English speaking foreigners, but with limited English. Access to the onsen in the hotel was free for hotel guests. Rooms were clean and a pretty good size for Japan.

Signage as you enter the building is nonexistent. It's like walking into an office building. By the elevator there was a sign (but not in English) that says the reception is on the 1st floor UK/2nd Floor US. We found the beds a bit flat and hard. Having the onsen on site was fantastic, but we did find it crowded in the evening when the number of non-residents was high.

5-10 minutes away from Hakata station. The room is a bit small. Hot spring can be used by non hotel guests so it can be a bit crowded. Taking the lift up to room floors needs the room card. There are microwaves and washing machines on certain floors.

Friendly and helpful team. Really good breakfast. Great location. A short subway ride, or refreshing walk, to Canal City which has some superb restaurants. The spring baths and welfare facilities were excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and wish it could have been longer.

There are hot spring so when we finished our trip and back to hotel, we can relaxed with hot spring . That was so perfect if i go to fukuoka again , i will stay the hotel again!

It's built quite long time ago , so all of facilities are old. But location and hot spring is perfect.

Lovely hotel close to Hakata station. The room was perfect for a solo traveler. Amenities like tea bags, slippers, toothbrush/toothpaste are available on the second floor next to reception for free. The breakfast buffet was incredible - many Japanese and Western options. The bonus was the onsen downstairs, perfect at the end of the day. Would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend.
