Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk

Location. Useful connectivity

Tiny room. Barely able to move around

My husband and I loved the location, right beside the baseball stadium. We went to a baseball game and did a lovely city bike tour. Local transportation was easy from there. The hotel room was great and so was the service.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful since we are travelling with 2 folding bikes. The location was perfect since we wanted to see a Japanese baseball game.

The view from the 22nd Floor overlooking Fukuoka Tower was spectacular! HHonors members get free WiFi, unlike other Hilton locations in Japan.

Mold growing around the bathtub; no outlet near bed to plug in sleep aparatus and finding mounds of dust bunnies around the headboard while looking for such outlet; over 4,000 yen service charge at check-out that no one could explain or itemize.

The place is big, with several restaurants and shops, and spaces. The room, the view, splendid. The executive lounge was wonderful as well.

It was unbelievable hot everywhere. But I talked to the front desk about it and they fixed it. That showed me they listen. It is quite good.

Very friendly and polite staff! Thank you to everyone! ^^ A great location and we got a better room. I also recommend to arrange the cake with them if you celebrate a birthday or special occasion. The cake price is so good and cheaper than many places and it’s convenient to get it delivered. Will definitely like to come back again!

The worest 5 stars hotel that I have stayed. I found some people paid half as mine.

The price a paid was too high. What the upgrade was no different. Most of the facility needed to pay for the usage.I paid JPY210,000 for three night including breakfast that seem too expanse. The buffet breakfast is poor, the coffee is tasteless as a five stars hotel.

Our stay at the Hilton Sea Hawk was wonderful and memorable. The location was perfect as we were able to explore the area easily. Nokonoshima Island by a short ferry ride from the terminal nearby, Sea side park, Fukuoka Tower were some of places we visited. A real surprise was that this hotel is right next to a baseball stadium and we were able to attend a Hawks home game on our last day in Japan. There are a lot of events that happen next to this hotel and Team Lab Fukuoka was one that we really enjoyed.The Hilton Sea Hawk hotel Was a wonderful experience. The room was huge and the view was stunning! The restaurant and food was was excellent. Don’t skip the breakfast. It was wonderful way to begin the day with many unique and tasty choices.The hotel was really clean. The staff helpful and friendly and I enjoyed everything about our stay here.

I stayed in a Panoramic Suite. The room was well-appointed with modern amenities, including a comfortable king-sized bed, a spacious work desk, and a seating area perfect for admiring the views of Fukuoka. The bathroom features a deep soaking tub. The staff was attentive and courteous, always ready to assist with requests. English-speaking staff members are available. There is a wide variety of dining options that feature both Western and Japanese dishes.

Wait a long time before checking in, at least with me. Since I was on foot on the ground was not easy to find the entrance to the hotel itself.

I was here for Seventeen's concert! It was super close to Pay Pay dome. I really enjoyed the breakfast! They have a great variety of choices.

I hope the shuttle to the airport was available.

Small rooms, not many meat options for breakfast, paid sauna, expensive rooms. Fitness was nice.

Old hotel with poorly maintained interior, not worth the price of the stay

While the common areas in the hotel looked fine, the rooms were old and not well maintained. We had dirt coming out of our shower hose for the first night of our stay; this was only fixed after the maintenance staff changed the hose and filter of our shower hose. Was quite appalled and disturbed, especially as we had a 1 year old baby and had to shower our baby in water that had black dirt/algae substance floating around. Dirt water aside, we also found the interior of the room very outdated. Eg there wasn’t even an electrical point at the bedside for charging of devices. Overall was not a comfortable stay. Other downsides: Poor location away from city centre with not much in the area. They charge for parking despite having their own carpark - in most other hotels globally guests will park for free if the hotels own the carpark. Definitely expected much much more from an international large hotel. Esp at a rate of > ¥50,000 per night.

After early check-in we left our luggage at the lobby, the staff told us to just mentioned the booking name when come back ! When we came back later, the staff couldn’t find our name and she wasn’t able to speak English n took her long time to find our room card!!! Was not very professional…

Liked that we got a free upgrade to twin room. The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was good. Location was convenient to get on the highway, and a short taxi drive from the city center. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the gym is extremely well equipped. Fast and convenient elevators. They also waived the parking fee which was a nice bonus! We felt very well looked after.

Just small things that don't bear mention!

Decent hotel in a decent location, if your travels take you to Fukuoka for some reason. Directly across from the sports stadium/concert venue, which is the only good reason to stay here.

Really not worth the money. Rooms are small by Hilton standards, even as compared to other Hiltons in Japan. On-site services and amenities are pretty basic, but they somehow feel justified in charging premium pricing for the Hilton name. It's not a good value for what you'll spend to stay here, look elsewhere.

The property has beautiful views and some nice amenities.

The bathrooms were smelly and moldy. The restaurants are very expensive but food not great nor selection and most of them were closed to public/guests and just for tour groups. The pools are an additional cost and nothing special..not many stores in the “mall” but there is a family mart and drugstore which is convenient.

Rooms were generally clean and breakfast was good.

1. Reading night lights could not be turned off completely, which is extremely annoying, as rooms could not be made dark enough for a comfortable sleep; 2. bed mattresses were generally not firm enough - soft mattresses = aching back in the morning3. Room was generally clean, but the daily cleaning of the room by staff was sub-standard (we came with a 2 year old child), cookie crumbs on counter. Tea / water in cup was not cleaned up. 4. Check-in waiting time was too long - no family priority lane with toddlers.
