    Pros +

    • 1. Central location in hip neighbourhood. 2. Coffee shop cafe in lobby was a great spot to hang out. 3. Automatic washing machines were very useful

    • Location, cleanliness

    Cons -

    • Room a bit small, typical to most hotels in japan
    • It was a little noisy at night, but that is because of the area and must be expected by anyone who knows what they've signed up for. Also the breakfast sandwiches were strange and they could maybe just stick to simpler recipes.
    • Limited choices for coffee and breakfast. Coffee was weak / watery.

The location was very central to lots of fun activities and restaurants. The lobby was a nice place to hang out - quiet and good coffee and tea available.

Location. Close to Gyukatsu Motomura, Kurodahan, vintage shops, convenience shops, and a short walk to Tenjin Station. The staff were very helpful and seem to enjoy working there. They were smiling and cheerful like working isn’t a chore. The bed was comfortable and bathroom ample sized. Good hairdryer. Our 4th floor room was quiet.

Limited choices for coffee and breakfast. Coffee was weak / watery.

We loved the location, staff, and the cozy coffee shop on the first floor. The room we were in had a great bath and small sofa, it was a great size for Japan. The windows faced the street which wasn't too loud and was a great view in the morning.

We initially got a room with not great natural light, the room itself was really nice. We asked the front desk for a room with light and they were amazing and accommodating and moved us! The room with less natural light was nice and quiet so some may prefer it!

Nice cozy atmosphere. Clean rooms, nicely layout for the bathroom

Breakfast is limited to eight different croissant sandwiches

Very fun book-themed decor (both in the lobby and in the rooms) and nice atmosphere. Very lively location with many, many restaurants around. Room was nice and modern, very good value.

Loved our moderate double and its balcony. The Cafe was a chill place to work once it closed to the public. Breakfast was delicious!

Super cute hotel with a coffee shop attached on the lower level. We had a free breakfast the first day which was unexpected, but it was very good! Coffee is pretty good here too! The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is very central with a 10 min walk to 2 different metro lines. The staff was kind and helpful.

This isn’t directly related to the hotel, but it’s important to share that if you are forwarding luggage from Fukuoka back to Tokyo that it actually takes 2 transit days, not 1 day like it does for other forwarding locations. So instead of sending luggage the day before you leave, you should consider sending 2 days before you leave especially if you have a flight out of Tokyo. Our luggage barely made it to us before our return home flight out of Narita. It was very stressful but made it with 30 mins to spare before we jumped on the airport bus.

Convenient 24 hr café and very friendly, helpful staff. In a vibrant part of town.

Great location - easily walkable to subway, yatais, etc., and safe & vibrant neighborhood. Room had everything needed. Breakfast was not Japanese unfortunately but it was fine (coffee & choice of sandwiches) & quick/reliable. The staff was friendly & helpful. I liked the cafe - always someone around, even if you got back late.

Room was tiny but standard for Japanese cities.

We had a very nice stay. Modern and clean hotel. Conveniently located. About the same distance to three different metro stations (Akasaka and Tenjin stations on the red line, and Tenjin-Minami on the green line). Five-minute walk to Don Quijote. The neighborhood was full of restaurants and buzzing at night with a lot of young people, even on a weeknight. Yet our room was very quiet and we couldn’t hear any noise. We had the “universal room” – functionally, it can fit three people (two in the lower bunk and one in the upper bunk) and the bathroom is wheelchair accessible. We got it because at 237sf, it was bigger than any of the other rooms. BTW, the room was listed on booking.com, but not at the hotel website. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Excellent value for the price we paid.

Nothing. We decided against getting the hotel breakfast, because it seemed like the included breakfast was just a coffee and a croissant from the coffee shop on the first floor. There were many places to eat around the hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful! The place was clean. Early morning book reading in the coffee shop was peaceful and the coffee was excellent. The location was central to many foods and shopping places and they had free bikes to use if you wanted to travel farther.

The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected.

    Good vibe

Breakfast: Coffee was good, but the stone-cold croissant (with mayo and hard-boiled eggs) was not something I would repeat!

Location, Cleanliness, Friendly Staff. Also the locker area is also a plus!

    9JanetPosted on: 9-21-2025

Good location- It was in the heart of Daimyo area. Very busy area with many shops & restaurants. Easy walk to Yatai. Room was clean and relatively well set up. Room was quiet too. Good laundry.

Room was nice but hallway was very dark. As a solo female traveler I didn’t like how dark it was getting to my room at end of hall. This was a busy place (hotel & area) which has pros and cons. Lounge/front desk area was always crowded.

Cool concept of cafe/bookstore/hotel, nice and clean, coin laundry available, friendly staff

Slight distance from station but bus is close and if you are willing to walk then its perfectly fine

I liked the casual atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. I also loved the location - it's in the middle of a happening part of Fukuoka - easy to get around.

Great location but a little small and simple for the price. The room was tiny.
