Hakata Tokyu Rei Hotel

It is convenient to the train station and bus station. as well as subways lines. The amenities provided on arrival--skin care product samples--and the coffee downstairs (as well as the vending machine on my floor) were al nice aspects of staying here.

The hotel is not visible from the train station, and if you cross the street the wrong way (as I originally did) you cannot easily cross for a few blocks. Perhaps a simplified map with walking instructions would help . . . .

Location closed to everything: bus, trains, shopping malls, convenience stores, underground restaurants in Hakata Station.Triple Room is so convenient for our family of three with nice shower. Size of room is so convenient, considering the regular room size of Japan. Personally, I love the aroma scent that the hotel uses in the common area. It made me relaxed and calmed when returning to the hotel after tiring days of traveling around.The team of staff is so attentive and kind, always greeting us when we left and returned. Breakfast is very nice. My family loves this kind of Japanese style breakfast.We ate a lot every time!.When we visit Fukuoka again, this hotel will definitely be our first choice!

clean, comfort, very nice location

Location is quite close to Hakata station, and most of the way is covered by shelter. Bathroom doesn't have a bathtub, but the shower is well equipped.

The hotel is located near Hakata station which is very easily to access to transportation. The bed was quite big for Japan average hotel. There's is a ice-cream available at the lobby.

During my stay in December 2025 there is a construction next to the hotel which a bit noisy but only during the days. The lobby was quite small and crowded if there're a lot of guest's check-in and check-out.

It’s clean, location is great, very close to Hakata station. The bathroom is nice and big.

It’s a bit small from listing pictures, can’t even open a large check in luggage comfortably, the only area can fit it’s the hallway, if I do that the other person can’t get to the bathroom. (Don’t want to put luggage on bed)

Average sized room (for Japan) for the price. Amenities in the lobby, free to take, in case travelers needed something. Clean and modern. Although I can't judge the carpet but it didn't look too bad/dirty. Modern Japanese toilets are the best. Decent bathroom, good size/space, but the door is just a sliding door with no lock. Close to the station, 6-7 min walk. Staff was helpful and kind, especially one of the front desk staff who called Yamato Transport for me to clarify if they took luggage deliveries/scheduled delivery at their location. I appreciate it so much.

I wished there were more space to hang things, either more bars or hooks on the walls to hang clothes/hangers in the bathroom or in the room. If not hooks, than maybe shelving/racks. I didn't like the shampoo/conditioner so I used my own later on. Overall, a very nice room.

Well located, even if it was tucked away a little bit. But the staff were fantastic, the room was comfy and small and very clean. And the breakfast was amazing! The luggage service was super helpful, they stored our luggage for the day after checkout and then we picked it up on the way to the airport. And there was even some welcome ice cream and tea, and free laundry. Really fantastic stay and service for the price. Highly recommend

A little tricky to find, but I’m sure that helps it be such a great value!

Large and spacious room, with ample space to move around unlike many other Japanese hotels. The separation between the showers and basin was also very helpful. Hotel was clean, location good. This is an excellent place to stay at.

My trip was just overnight so I can’t speak to many things but my experience was nice, no issues.

Not necessarily a negative, the location was kind of difficult to find and construction was going on outside. The hotel is very up front about this and neither of those issues are in their control.

The hotel was very clean and accommodating. It was in a very convenient location with affordable parking for the area. Extremely nice shower w/ clean water. Small but had everything we needed. Complimentary ice cream in the lobby & helpful staff.

No microwave in the room but there was a microwave, laundry & vending machine on every floor.

Loved the location with quick access to Hakata station since we traveled during the rainy season. The complimentary soft drinks and snacks were a pleasant surprise. Room was always clean and floor was quiet. Would definitely recommend!
