Hotel Mei Fukuoka Tenjin

A very nice modern hotel, centrally located. The rooms are a good size but the bed was super hard with only pillow per person, had to go down and ask for more. I wouldnt stay here again just because of the bathroom, it was tiny and comparable to an RV/Caravan bathroom. If you are tall, you will not be able to sit on the toilet with the door closed.

The bathroom size, far too small for the average adult. The beds were also hard and not very comfortable.

I loved tha cafe downstairs and overall tha aesthetic and decoration. The staff was very nice !

No outlets near the bed except USB-A which makes it difficult if you use a CPAP. They did give me an extension cord, but you do have to ask.

Pricey for the value. Bed was not very comfortable (very hard). The cafe is the only common space in the hotel, but consumption is required to sit there even if you are staying in the hotel

The bathroom was really tiny and the tap was shared between the shower and the sink. I would have made the rooms bit smaller and bigger restroom. The walls are thin, you can hear the neighbours.Somehow the ac was always turning on at 4am, never understood the reason :(

Excellent hostel, I'd recommend the breakfast which was tasty.Very helpful staff! I'm sorry I forgot the names but a very kind man and the reception diligently helped me to fill in the Takkyubin forms.

Cute cafe downstairs, nicely designed rooms!

Thin walls, traffic was audible at night in the room. A table lamp that didn’t turn off - at all - I needed to unscrew the bulb to sleep. A tablet that wouldn’t fully turn off at night - so kept flashing a changing screen even in night mode.

It’s well located, this hotel. We booked 3 rooms. Among them was the studio, not fitting for two standard Caucasian people: the bathing area was bigger than the sleeping room, the bed was not broad and not long enough. The more expensive Executive room had two windows facing a wall one meter ahead. No view at all. Downstairs they only serve cappuccino (after ten) when Italians do not drink cappuccino anymore (before ten). And whenever you are waiting (in the morning) as a hotel guest for just a couple of minutes in the lobby, someone is telling you that you are obliged to order a drink.

Nice&clean, staff friendly, good location and good fare

Property was sufficient for any travellers. Room space might be a little small but it is still ample enough for both me and my partner to open both our luggages. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing hotel, might be a bit of a walk from the train station (Tenjin-Minami station, roughly 10 minutes).

Very tiny bathroom. Smallest we've encountered in Japan. No power points by the bed. Info tablet only in Japanese.

We accidentally left some medicine in the mini fridge, it was not handed in when the room was cleaned. Very poor service.
