APA Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin Nishi

Great APA hotel and excellent location. Your right in the heart of Tenjin. Honestly, I thought I was going to here a lot of noise at night and in the morning but it is a very quiet block because there are no business or anything on this street. I got my best sleep and you know most standard APA hotels have great beds, amenities, staff, pretty much everything you need. I enjoyed my stay! Thank you for having me!

I'm not a fan of the APA's mandatory cleaning policy every 3rd day but I know that will never change so you will have to put up with it. It sucks if you always sleep in because the staff have to do their job. I respect the staff. I think it would have been nice if there was an indoor onsen at this location but it doesn’t have one. It seemed right.

Location was great, room was perfect for a solo traveller

The pillow - it was too hard and quite uncomfortable.

Excellent location close to Ohori Park, the Daimyo district shops, restaurants and bars and the Akasaka subway station.

Room was a bit cramped.

Though the staff has limited English, tried really hard to be helpful from the front desk to the food service. Thank goodness for Google translate. One thing I had experienced that if you loose something in Japan, don't have to worry about not being returned. While eating breakfast left my purse at their restaurant, panicked but sure enough it was turned in to the front desk.I want to personally thank Mr. Horikawa and Tako for their patience and understanding and to rest of the staff. Thanks for storing our luggage and calling taxi for us to leave for the airport. We appreciate your excellent service!

The room is really tiny, I guess this is pretty much standard here in many cities in Japan but they made the best of in terms of being "functional ". But the price was right for what its worth ? .

Location was good and the staff was nice and helpful.

The pillows we got by default were just awful. I struggled to sleep the first night because of this. On the second day I gathered courage to request additional pillows and they gave us really good ones. I wasn’t able to understand why they don’t give those in the first place.

It literally has everything I need. An ethernet plug so I can hookup my xbox or pc and a nice size TV I love this room. They even upgraded to better pillows.

Make the TV hdmi port easier to get to. But other than that it's lovely.

Daily replacement of towels and some room amenities / kind staff / plenty of eateries and konbinis in the area

It’s close to the city center.

The rooms are on the smaller side but it’s common in Japan.

they have one rude female staff assign in reception but she was more concern on the restaurant. It is rude to asked the name and room number of the guest first before asking questions.

Small rooms but covers everything you need. Friendly staff, clean and modern, simple but really nice breakfast:)

The smell of the room was off putting, especially the bathroom tho the room was clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful

Aircon is not functioning at all and room has cigarette smell. The corridor outside the room is cooler than the room. Informed the front counter and was told that this is the case as aircon is controlled by the hotel .. I have stayed in many Japanese hotel but never such a hotel that make us sweat while sleeping

Very good location in Tenjin near Fukuoka castle ruins and cherry trees park. Super comfortable matrass and pillows. Room size was ok for single use. Breakfast scarce but quite adequate, really good coffee. Personally friendly and helpful.

Very small lobby with only 2 chairs. No place to repack one’s suitcases.

I really liked the breakfast, every day miso soup and rice and always some different cooked extras!

I arrived at 14:43 and they said I can only check in at 15:00. I have flown already 21 hours before and just wanted to rest.

Great location to restaurants and close to the station. Clean modern facilities

The pillows weren’t great but we asked for more at the front desk and they gave us nice fluffy ones, so the issue was fixed immediately and easily

The room was small but it worked well. Location is good.

I was expecting a better breakfast. They are not adding more food during breakfast time, so the selection is worse already one hour before the end of the breakfast than in the beginning. Not many guests seem to take the breakfast.

The hotel's location is excellent, with great convenience for both daily necessities and other shopping. The service is also quite good. The rooms are a bit small, which is a common characteristic of hotels in Japan.

Location is fantastic!They even have 6 reserved parking spots, which is very convenient, so you don't have to worry about finding a parking space every time you use your car.

Pillows were flat and hard.
