goom Hotel Fukuoka-Tenjin

Location. Unmanned facilities. Homelike facilities. Loved the bathroom and toilet facilities.

Too big for one person, but no complaints.

Place is near to restaurants and walking distance to the mall, to commercial district and train station

1. They DO NOT REPLACE towels2. They said that they have a washing machine so that you can wash the towels. BUT THEY DO NOT PROVIDE DETERGENTS to wash3. We called them to ask for detergents, a guy said that he will send somebody over to give detergents. LATER ON when nobody came, we called them up again and they apologize and said that staff is new and that NO DETERGENTS will be provided. Go buy your own detergents and wash the towels on your own. This was our SECOND TIME to stay here. Our first time to stay here was last year and they provided detergents during our stay LAST YEAR 2024. THIS YEAR - NONE. 4. Tissues, Soap and shampoos ARE NOT refillable. We were SCRIMPING on the use of shampoo, tissues and soap since NO REFILL.

Room is a bit old. No staff to help on the spot, where you will need to figure out yourself base on instruction given. When asked for laundry bag, was told they don't provide. We are not clear how to enter the building after exit.

Stayed May 2025, 2 rooms. ? Location- very close to “local” restaurants and some shops. Spacious room, with separate entry way to leave shoes, kitchen, WC, shower, Lavatory. There was 1 thick mattress inside closet. The long table with chairs were very useful. Had iron, propane stove, sink, dining wares, a few cooking wares. Washer dryer. Big ref in Rm 707.

? A bit of a walk to train station, especially with luggage. Rm 703 had smell inside WC. Rm 707 had broken chain lock, and can hear noise from street until 12:00 midnight. No full length mirror. Some had difficulty registering, but was able to do it by calling thru the ipad customer support. Small ref in Rm 703. No hair dryer.

Cheap, big beds, spacious, long table, 1 thick mattress inside cabinet, washer dryer, smart WC in one room, shower is also separate door from lavatory. Ref, stove, sink, eating utensils. Big window with black out curtain.

Bad smell from drain line. Futon beds not comfortable.

We did not know the hotel is UNMANNED because it wasnt in any of the hotel deacriptions in Booking.com. Check-in was difficult- we couldnt enter the hotel because no entry instructions were provided to us prior to our arrival date. Kids and senior parents had to stand outside for more than an hour while we tried to call hotel hotline for help. The NO REPLACEMENT OF TOWELS and GARBAGE policy is very disappointing especially if you are staying many nights. Only 1 elevator for the entire hotel. All beds are very creaky.

Not bad location very close to main spots I stayed there for 6 nights we were group of 7 people . Everything was okay but there were not enough utensils for even 2-3 people to cook our food , So I had to buy all the major utensils by my self. Rest smooth checkin Smoother check out

The location is great, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. However, we could hear loud, disruptive yelling from drunk people on the street.

The facility is old and poorly maintained. I spent nearly an hour cleaning the smelly toilet and bathroom before I could use them. There was a lot of dust throughout the room. The bed frames were unstable, making noisy sounds with even the slightest movement. Additionally, there were only three chairs in a room meant for four people, and one of the chairs was nearly falling apart. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've had in Japan.

A HOTSPOT LOCATION! Very convenient as it is located at the heart of Tenjin near quaint coffee shops and restaurants, shopping area and 2 train stations. I love it!

Great location, everything you need to close. Its close to the subway station and within a walkable distance to Tenjin. The room has everything you need.

The accommodation was very comfortable for three people, offering plenty of space for both relaxation and storage for our suitcases. Check-in was straightforward, and the space was spotless upon arrival. The location was excellent.

I wish there had been a clothes dryer available. It might have been due to the weather, but our clothes took an exceptionally long time to air dry—nearly three days out of the four days we were staying. A dryer would have been helpful.

The property is good, the location was perfect, safe and secure, this is exactly what we wanted, lots of local restaurants within walking distance. There’s a plethora of excellent foods within the area including shopping

The only problem we had initially was it was difficult for taxi drivers to locate property, it’s in a fairly dense area with a lot of condos/businesses and shops but we finally just pinned the address in Japanese and it was good

This location is close to many interesting places, including malls, restaurants, and subway stations.

We had a poor experience because the air conditioning in the room was dripping heavily, forcing us to place a small basin on the carpet to catch the drips. Additionally, one of the bed frames broke due to its lack of sturdiness.

I got locked out in the middle of the night and couldn't acess my stuff that was locked inside so I had to call for someone to unlock it.thsi caused me a lot of distress..

The guest room is spacious.

Check out time cannot have free extension. And if we need to leave the luggages in the hotel, there is no storeroom, no locker, or no staff to manage/oversee the luggages.

Great location near restaurants, bars and the metro. Walking distance to the centre. Yet quiet.
