Tokyu Stay Fukuoka Tenjin

We appreciated to have a microwave, a fridge and a laundry machine in the room! The laundry machine took forever to finish one cycle though. Able to open the window for a fresh air was nice, too.

Breakfast selection was disappointing.

Located near the subway and there are a lot of delicious eating places nearby. The breakfast option was at an adjacent restaurant and it was very good. The hotel staff were courteous and professional.

There was an ice machine in the lobby but no water dispenser.

The location is incredibly convenient, especially for first-time visitors to Fukuoka. You can easily explore all the sights on foot! I absolutely love it. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating :)

Well designed rooms with washer dryer which was a plus. Great amenities you can get from the lobby. Very clean. Great PJs they give you for the stay. Would stay again for location!

Smaller rooms but was not a huge inhibitor.

Nice location — a few minutes walk from the subway and shopping center.The room is big, there’s a washing machine, and the staff is nice too.

Carpet is a little dirty, they should properly vacuum clean before the next guest checks-in.

A main selling point of the hotel was the in-room laundry, which was essential during our two week trip. The hotel is close to multiple stations and within walking distance of several malls, such as Canal City. There were also good restaurants on the same street.

Though I'm grateful to have had in-room laundry, it's a bit tricky if you aren't used to Japanese machines. There are English instructions, but even the standard settings took an average of 4 hours for one load. If you don't take the laundry out when the dry cycle is done, it will continue to re-run the dryer, meaning you can't just throw in a load and leave for the day. The machine is quite loud and hard to sleep through. Could have been user error, but something to be aware of if you plan to do several loads.

Good value, good location, short walk from Tenjin park and short cab ride from Hakata JR, and, most importantly, washer/dryer in room. Breakfast buffet okay. Staff got us a taxi quickly.

Seems like one of the older Tokyu Stay properties. Smaller room than we have had in other Tokyu Stays. Basically clean, but still, spots on carpet, musty smell in bathroom. Lobby space completely filled up with left luggage, almost no place to sit.

Easy to find entrance, just card key safety feature in elevator, multilingual staff and signage, comfortable bed, easy to use appliances (tv remote, AC remote), W/D available in room

Bathroom floor was slanted/ dips down in the middle so maybe it's not well-supported structurally, can only keep 2pcs/person in luggage storage, only limited cleaning is available for short stays

Facility and room were very clean and tidy. The multilingual staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location, right on a major street with convenience stores on either side, lots of restaurants and shops everywhere, and a subway station a block away. The washer/dryer and microwave in the room were major plusses--so convenient!

The room space is a bit tight, but not as much as other Japanese hotel rooms; however, a little more space to hang clothes would've been nice

A perfect base for your Fukuoka trips. Centrally located where all the action is, shopping and dining attractions are all in walking distance. As well, bus and subway stations are close by for trips out of the Tenjin area. The big plus tho is the washer/dryer in your room! Also, for Japan standards this room is quite big. I highly recommend the Tokyu Stay Tenjin and will definitely stay again!

Room was great, lots of space, lots of light, well decorated and well equipped. Lovely bathroom. Helpful staff, good location - would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast. Would recommend staying at this hotel and having breakfast elsewhere - there's a cafe right next door if you want Western breakfast, and no doubt masses of Japanese options.

The location was very central and convenient. Many dining options close by and Lawsons next door. The washing machine was a huge draw for us and helped us to travel more lightly.

The front desk made a mistake in forwarding our luggage to next destination. Advise you to doublecheck the address.

Cleanness , very convenient

On a rainy day, taxis were hard to find. We had to catch a flight, but the staff couldn't help us at all.

The location is great. The room spacious and clean.

Sometimes staff was just trainees and we don’t get any clear answer.

The place was pretty big for a Japanese style apartment. My brother and I fit both our luggage and selves within the room quite easily. The staff was great and helpful if we needed anything. Location was also great for easily getting to the shopping areas of Fukuoka.

I don't think I have really any complaints about this apartment in particular. Everything was nice and tidy. It was super hands off and I have no big qualms about it.

The location is perfect for access to shopping,subways and restaurants. The washing machines are a great touch.

Excellent location - walking distance to the canal city, and tenjin area where the yatai is scattered around;laundry machine in the room comes in clutch - super convenient!

Our room was directly in front of the housekeeping room, making it very inconvenient to enter/exit when they were cleaning the rooms on our floor.

Location is good, good for really short stay. Also they had washing machine in the room.

We booked a non smoking room with a baby and it was clearly a room that someone smoked in, the bed sheets were all smelly, it was horrible. Also the weirdest thing happened, they have a baby room on ground floor which I asked if I could use to nurse the baby after check out and they said no without any explanation.

They had a private laundry machine for the room i had and provided detergent and service for staff on holding Amazon packages was done professionally and left a note at the door incase you dont check your phone

That the AC was quite weak and the humidity in the room sometimes got unnerved for the first 2 days
