Pros +
- All staff speaks English, very friendly, and helpful; room spacious with plenty of closets for Family of 3, coffee is free. Good location, quiet, close to restaurants and coffee shops. Bus station close to main entrance. Highly recommended
- The location is really good, not too far from the major Shinjuku station which you can get to anywhere in Tokyo from there. Also, the hotel was clean and easy to get in and out of.
- Central location but away from crowded tourist areas, so access to neighborhood restaurants. Staff friendly. Room well equipped with all necessities. Prefer smaller hotel like this but still has a laundry room and fitness room.
Cons -
- They should list clear directions to the hotel from subway, we didn't know we had to take a bus that will take us right to the hotel.
- The major downside I experienced is that the front desk worker wanted to charge me $30 a day to use the other bed in the bedroom on top of the rate we paid per night. It was actually shocking.
- Breakfast was below average. Also would be great if the TV were a smart TV so English-speakers could find non-japanese programs.
