Nalika Beach Resort - Adults Only

I loved how dependable and helpful the staff were during my solo trip, they really made sure I had a great experience and went out of their way to accommodate my requests.

I would have preferred if the rooms had a phone for emergencies and if the property provided some form of fly repellent.

The location was situated beautifully on a lava sand beach, hidden away as its own secret oasis. The facilities were very clean and all of the staff was very accommodating and friendly. As for the restaurant within this resort, each day offered the most delicious and fresh foods one could imagine.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was also very tasteful.Unfortunately, this did not outweigh the disadvantages.

The bathroom has a partially open roof and has plants. This means that there are always millipedes in the bathroom and we got rid of over a hundred. On the first day we reported it straight away and the bathroom was cleaned and sprayed with a product. The effect fizzled out after a few hours.The hotel sells itself as adult only but the bathroom is only 1.5m from the house next door and as a slatted door separated the bathroom from our room we heard everything that was happening in the house next door, including the children screaming.The beach in front of the house was also often covered in rubbish, but this is due to the area as there is a lot of rubbish lying around.We shortened our stay from 6 to 5 days. The owner told us that a refund is not possible and even though we paid a high price for Bali, over 100 EUR per night, not a single gesture of goodwill was made.

The best part of this resort is its staff. Very kind, friendly and ready to help at any time. There are a lot of things they can assist you with. You can rent a bike, hire a car, or order a massage or a tour like snorkeling or dolphin watching right at the resortThe room itself was clean and quite cozyThe menu at their restaurant is varied. It’s quite expensive, but each dish is worth it. I’d recommend to try their beef burger, however it’s not a local dishSwimming pool is ok

The sea wasn’t calm and clean all the time, but there was a rainy season when we were there (obviously, not the resort fault)Shampoo in the room wasn’t really good

The environment is good, on one side the beach on the other side the rice field, the staff as usual in Bali, very friendly.

The hotel space is very small, so everything is packed around your room, swimming pool, restaurant and there is no privacy. You feel like between walls, in jail, can hear your neighbors talking in their rooms. I feel sorry to make this comment but it is real and I cannot recommend this place.

a small beach front resort with only a few villas, it’s very quiet and feels like a beautiful, elegant secret garden. staff members are very polite and extremely helpful. Rooms are beautiful and clean, too. Last but not least, the food is amazing!

Staff, food, cleanness, style

Great staff, they served us a very lovely breakfast. The place is very quiet and away from the city centre noise and cars. So it is the perfect place if you want to isolate your self, relax, or even work from your laptop (Ask them for the dolphin tour so you don't have to travel to Lovina Beach - Which is about 30 minutes away by car)

The location of the resort is perfect, on the beach, without anything around, extremely calm and only the sound of the waves is there.We liked the « semi - open air » bathroom and the bed is great.We loved the food made by the restaurant of the resort.The resort itself is very nice as you can see on the pictures.The staff is amazing, special thanks to Sorni, Ayu, Binar and the owner who were lovely and did everything possible to make our stay really good

Maybe a mosquito net on the bathroom door and on the side panels next to the sliding windows would be a nice improvement

Our stay at Nalika Beach Resort was exceptional. The owner and staff were really helpful and friendly. The beach and sea were just a few metres away. We fell asleep under the sound of the waves. There were three very sweet dogs at the Resort. Breakfast was elaborate. They also rented motorbikes and were able to arrange car transport.

This place is like paradise! The only place in Bali that has BOTH sunrise and sunset! Absolutely beautiful. We spent a wonderful 10 days at Nalika and were very sad to leave. Beautiful garden, nice comfortable rooms (with own bathrooms which are open to the air, with trees inside), clean pool. Guests are treated like family and taken care of (thank you! ♡). Exceptional breakfast with amazing pancakes and fresh juices, great dinners (both indonesian and western dishes; pizza is said to be the best in Bali, and we can confirm!), drinks and the whole ambience. Massages and other service available. You can also rent a scooter and drive around! Can we go back already?

Just keep in mind there are a few stairs here and there (also to the bathroom) so no wheelchair options.

The staff is very kind and professional. The place is beautiful, the north of Bali is a paradise for having a relaxing vacations. Near the Nalika it’s possible to go snorkeling and watch dolphins. Great!

We LOVED every second of our stay in Nalika. We wanted the peace and quiet to relax for a few days so the location of Nalika on the beach away from the town and a 3hr drive from Ubud was ideal. Some other reviews give out about the quiet location but had they not looked it up beforehand? The hotel offered transfer, dolphin swimming, snorkelling and trekking options. The transfer from the airport was organised by Nalika at 800,000 (€45) which was great value and very comfortable and cheaper than grab. Sorni and Ayu who looked after us were phenomenal, they are the most attentive staff and were there for our every need. The room staff cleaned the room everyday and the rooms are big and comfortable. We had the best sleep here as the beds are so comfortable. The area is quiet so we ate in Nalika a lot also but the food is great. The breakfast includes tea/coffee, eggs, toast, fruit, it’s very good .A massive thank you to everyone there

Wowzers... I am not sure I have enough wonderful things to say about this resort!!! We had a very late arrival, but they remained staffed for us and even made us dinner at 930pm when we finally made it there! They gave us fresh magnolia flower leis upon our arrival and a cold drink! All the staff was very pleasant and helpful the whole stay. We especially loved Ayu! She was the absolute sweetest person we met the entire two weeks on the island! She helped us book excursions and massages at the resort and always had a smile and prompt service! Food and drinks were reasonably priced and delicious! The view of the ocean was spectacular, and the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking and some of my favorite memories of the trip! The pool was nice sized and clean, and I liked the tanning seat ledge it had! The room was spacious and clean as well as the bathroom. I liked the resort had an outdoor bathroom that could be used as well. I loved just about everything at this resort, and I was extremely sad to leave. I travel a decent amount worldwide, and this location may hold my favorite overall experience spot! I am already trying to plan a return trip!

The air conditioner in the bathroom never worked, and the one in the room barely worked, but it did enough that we were never too uncomfortable. One day, a family came to do a day pass, I'm guessing, which was a little disappointing because we thought no kids were allowed here, but they were pretty good and weren't too loud.

Not the best location for a romantic walk on the beach even though the hotel is right on it. There's lots of trash (even if the hotel tries to keep it clean)
