Everything! The whole villa was beautiful, the pool was great and the free breakfast was easily the best I’ve had at any other hotel in Bali. The menu also has reasonable prices, comparable to local warungs making it easy to just eat at home if you don’t know where to eat. The staff were also super friendly and helpful!!

I wish the place had a gym, but it’s no problem since there are gyms nearby for really cheap.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful family hotel. The property is very well maintained, full of impressive statues, and offers plenty of space to relax. Within walking distance, there is a charming traditional Balinese village – a perfect opportunity to experience authentic local life. I would highly recommend staying here at least one night to enjoy the atmosphere.Another highlight is the nearby waterfall, which can be reached by a path through stunning jungle scenery. Everything is equipped with stairs, making the walk safe and easy, even with children. It was one of the experiences we enjoyed the most.The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful and unique details. We especially loved the patterned wall ventilation, something we have never seen anywhere else – truly beautiful!Overall, this hotel is a perfect choice for families or anyone looking to combine comfort, culture, and nature in one stay.

My time here was fabulous. The grounds, the staff, the care, and the immersion in nature were perfect for my soul. I could visit some beautiful waterfalls and temples nearby. This is a family business, and they were exceptional. The delicious food, the sweet pool, and quiet ambience were a perfect getaway for me. Oh, and don't forget to get a massage!

I wasn't able to walk anywhere from the property, but it was always easy to call a taxi.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! It’s a peaceful and cozy place, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making you feel at home from the very first moment. The food is not only delicious but also fresh and safe, with breakfasts that are simply outstanding. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of to ensure guests have the best experience. The owner and his family are incredibly kind, hospitable, and always ready to help with a smile. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

Everything was great, nothing to complain about

Wayan and his family have been exceptional hosts. So very friendly and helpful in any ways, the villa was spotless clean and well equipped, the beds are comfi and the environment so tranquil and beautiful. The pool refreshing and the food home cooked. Truly an original Bali paradise. We can fully recommend this place. We hope we can return sometimes in the future.

Asli Bali is a little paradise outside Ubud and located in Bagli. If you are planning to visit Mount Batur, Kintamani and lots of waterfalls. It is a hidden gem. Like staying in Jungle. The family who owns and maintain this are awesome, lovely staff. They can manage your tours, rent a bike on premise, food on premise. So, you are sorted! Breakfast was really good, lunch and dinner available if you need it.

Slightly rough road near the place about 500 mtrs but the cars can easily get there right into the compound.

There was a choice of 4 cooked breakfasts. Lovely infinity swimming pool. Renovations excellent. Beautiful gardens. Excellent well managed property.

the staff, the villas, the friendliness of everyone, the food! if you want to experience a tranquil true Bali then this is the place, it's very much away from everything so it's peaceful

cockerels kept me awake both nights from 4 am, that was only negative otherwise this place is a delight

Amazing hospitality from the moment we arrived. The grounds are stunning, the pool is super inviting and the way the buildings are set out makes for great privacy. All the staff are super friendly as well. We organised scooter hire from the Villas to visit local temples and rice fields. This was so easy. In fact nothing was too much trouble at all.

Absolutely nothing

The entire staff was really nice and helpful. They rent scooters, have airport shuttle, offer private driver services, and they booked our boat trip for us when we left. The place is gorgeous, clean and very peaceful.

You have to be aware that the villa is far from Ubud and far from any shop/restaurants. We were expecting this so not a problem for us.

My stay at Asli Villa was truly enjoyable. It's a family-run business that offers a wide range of services, including transportation, tours, meals, and laundry. Keep in mind that the villa is located in a small village, so there aren't many amenities nearby. You'll either need a car or can arrange transportation through them. Overall, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Maybe if they can include safe lockers in the room will be perfect.anyway we didn’t feel unsafe during our stay there.

The family suite was very spacious and comfortable, in a beautiful, calm setting. We enjoyed the excellent little pool and great breakfasts. A good location for exploring central parts of Bali and experiencing village culture.

It is a little bit hard to get to, and the immediate locality is not great for walking around.

Absolutely everything. If we could rate our experience at Asli any higher we would. 100/10.From the second we got to Asli we felt genuinely welcomed and at home. The property itself is stunning, so much thought and care has gone into the everything. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The food is exceptional.Scooter available for hire. Tours and transfers available. Massage on site available.We did a day tour and it was the best - TJ is very knowledgeable, took us to wonderful places and was not stumped by any of our many questions. Very nearby is a beautiful waterfall, the short walk to the waterfall is just gorgeous and well kept.There is also a Warung nearby that serves delicious Laklak and Babi Guling.Thank you so much Wayan, Mini, TJ, Kadek and the whole team.We were very sad to leave and look forward to when we can visit again. We wish you every success.

Asli Bali is like a paradise to stay in, totally recommended! Wayan, TJ and all the family are so friendly and helpful, we had a really wonderful time here

Everything was just perfect! The garden is a paradise and the people are fantastic. They are so kind, fun and helpful, without being pushy. In 6 weeks of travelling through Indonesia, this hotel is my favorite. And I absolutely recommend to visit the (almost secret) waterfall close to the hotel
