Lesong Hotel and Restaurant

It is located in the middle of the rice field, amazing nature with a beautiful view! You can see the sunrise over the mountains and the sunset time in the rice terrace is gorgeous as well. The hotel really cares about conserving the environment - they provide you glass bottles of water, which you can refill as much as you want with the water server in the reception. They kept the natural surroundings very well. They have a list of a variety of activities you can choose from - a walk through rice terrace with the guide was really nice and the waterfalls are so close as well (the staff can drop you off at the waterfall and you can either walk back home or ask them to pick you up). The staffs were very friendly and attentive, they are willing to assist you. It is a bit far from Denpasar but if you want a serene time in the nature, I highly recommend it!

If I can be picky - there is a room for improvement regarding their food at the restaurant.

We loved our one night stay at the Lesong Hotel. Once we arrived we immediately wished we had the time to stay more days. It is such a pleasant place, both the hotel and the surrounding area. The hotel is in the middle of rice fields that come right up to the pool, your windows in the room, making for gorgeous views. Our room had massive windows facing to the East and to the West, so you can imagine that beautiful sunset and sunrise that we experienced at Lesong. The pool was wonderful to relax in, the room and bed were comfortable. The shower was massive and had great water pressure. The restaurant served delicious food, I would particularly highlight the fresh fruit juices. The staff provided excellent care and service. We hope to be back someday for a longer stay!!

Would have been nice to be there when the rice fields have grown, but thats just part of it. View was still amazing.

Honestly the highlight accommodation of our 3-week stay in Indonesia! The pictures don’t do it justice in terms of the sense of zen and calm this place gives off! So much so that even though we were initially meant to stay for only 2 nights, we quickly decided to add a third. Wonderfully friendly staff, the best massage of my life (hot stone), lovely fresh food from the on-site kitchen (especially the gado gado and mie goreng, not to forget the delicious fruit platters), and all around a brilliant experience.

Quiet serene location. Staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Beautiful pool. Loved the private patio. On site massage was fantastic.

Our stay was fantastic! The staff goes out of their way to be of assistance, especially when you wish to go on any tours. We were very fortunate to be there for a special three month ceremony which the staff arranged for us. This is a special time and celebration for a three month old baby. The views from the hotel are beautiful as you are right amongst the rice terracing. Also, the hotel is not in Munduk town, which has many tourists, but in the quiet village of Gesing, less than 10 minute drive away. The staff at Lesong was more than happy to give us a lift to Munduk one evening for dinner and picked us up afterwards.

I had such an amazing stay here:) The staff are all very welcoming, provide exceptional service, and work very hard to make this place feel like a home away from home. The scenery is absolutely stunning, the property is well kept and gardens are beautiful. Food was all good as well with a wide range of options to choose from. There is a great selection spa services, and activities that can be booked right on location . If you are visiting Munduk stay here!

The location is so beautiful - there are plenty of local walks to explore the surrounding rice fields and waterfalls. The staff at Lesong were so attentive and helpful, organising transport and activities for us - we particularly enjoyed the guided hike near Twin Lakes which also included a canoe ride, as well as the on-site Balinese cooking class.

Beautiful property in amongst the rice terraces. Lovely views, enjoyed sitting out on the balcony, private space. Lovely staff. Good food. We really enjoyed the cooking class.

Only main inclusion that would be good to add would mini fridge to keep drinks cold. An extra power outlets and a side table to place items in upstairs bedroom room ( for charging phone, put water, book beside bed to avoid going up/down steep stairs) but not much space up there.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, with incredible staff. Nothing was too much trouble, they expertly organised excursions, drivers, and massages for us. We felt like part of the family.

The staff were amazing and food delicious. The location is picturesque.. If you need to reset and relax it is perfect. It's silent except for the wildlife. If you are look8ng for nightlife, this is not the region but if you want to see the real Bali is here.

There are a lot of ants but you are in nature so it has to be expected

The property was very charming. The restaurant was nice and the pool was amazing! The location of the property was a bit away from things. We walked to nearby villages and the main waterfalls in the area. The property is located on rice terraces… pretty nice feature!

The sliding veranda doors had big gaps so insects and geckos were able to get in. Despite the netting around the bed, I found a massive spider on my pillow. Apparently it was harmless, but still quite alarming! Just be aware that the chances of seeing spiders, rats, geckos, etc. are increased when staying in the jungle/mountains.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful location. Every detail was thought of like yoga mats in the room and umbrellas when raining. The cooking class was so interesting.

This hotel is family run and as soon as you arrive them make you feel part of the family. All is done to make me comfortable and to help me organize my tours.

The property is very isolated. The family will organize a driver to anywhere when you ask.

The Accomodation was amazing. Fabulous view. Pool was beautiful. Well maintained gardens with pretty flowers .Butterflies, frogs and other little critters !! Staff were outstanding.Always happy and smiling. They can organise anything for you. We hired scooters to explore. Loved our time here.Thank You ?

The staff were super accommodating and friendly. They even went out of their way to drop something that we had forgotten at our next hotel. We had a lovely massage here too!

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was really nice, and the location among the rice paddies was breathtaking. We ate breakfast and dinner there, and both were delicious. The pool was also really good.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities. The wildlife was very noisy (not really a negative though, I actually loved hearing all the insects and frogs, and slept fine, I just mention it as others may not like it), and the paths to our room were a little slippy in places
