The property was beautiful, quiet and serene. The hotel staff made our stay even better. Thank you Putu, Dayu, and Wayan for your hospitality! The entire staff were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful! If we needed anything at all, they went out of their way to help, and right away too! They helped us with scooter rentals and taxis, wall plug adapters, laundry and more. The pool is beautiful and relaxing, the beach sandy and calm. We went snorkeling at a few spots in Amed and right outside the hotel was our favorite. Spectacular snorkeling. The breakfast they offer was delicious, and two very good restaurants are in close walking distance to the hotel which we ate dinner at frequently.

The beach right in front has tricky waters to go snorkeling also beware do not swing out too far out, there's a obvious rip current. Take reef shoes if you plant to swim there, but better to use only as a place to stay, there's much better swimming beaches.

This was an excellent hotel for us to stay in and take a break from the busy parts of Bali. We had a beautiful and spacious room with a view overlooking the ocean from our balcony, which had two chairs and a drying rack. The hotel breakfast was excellent and I would highly recommend including it in your stay because food options in the area are sparse. The breakfast area was also beautiful with sweeping views of the beach and ocean. The staff were very helpful and arranged laundry service and bike rentals, plus snorkeling rentals which were very fun to use right outside the hotel on the beach. The pool area is very relaxing to hang out in and the bar regularly tends to you for your drink order while you relax. Ultimately, an excellent choice to stay for a few days and slow down on your Balinese vacation.

Unfortunately, the location of the hotel is not very convenient, but Amed is not a busy area. All restaurants and amenities stretch along the main road on the coastline, so any hotel on the main road will have limited options around it. Grab is also almost non-existent in the area, so you have to rent a bike or walk to get anywhere else. The roads in Amed are really rough and dusty from construction, so if you don't want to risk renting a bike, walking is your only option, and there are really not many amenities within walking distance at all. This is going to be the case anywhere you stay in Amed, so it's not entirely a negative, just something to be aware of. While we stayed, the hotel was not open for dinner service, so the only choices for dinner were the italian restaurant and local warung.

The view is just breathtaking. When you get here you visit paradise. Every room has a beach and ocean view. Snorkeling is one of the best I’ve experienced - much better than the Gili Islands. The Pool and lobby areas are super nice. We were looking for the more quiet side of Bali and definitely found it here. Great Warungs, Restaurants and a Spa within walking distance (streets are really bad here though and walking can be quite a challenge when dark).The beach is used by local fishermen who offer affordable snorkel trips and taxi services. The staff was always super helpful, when asked, and the chat on What’s App really helped when in need of anything.The garden of the hotel is super nicely maintained and the smell of Frangipani always made my day!

The hotel is really way out from everything. Be aware that you need a scooter or taxi to even buy water bottles. Taxis are quite pricey. The rooms are very basic, the beds are pretty hard, so if you have an issue with that you’ll need to invest in massaging your pain away in the spa just 3 properties up the road.We had a suite and the sofas were ones you would usually use for outdoors.The beach can have fish heads and other fishing leftovers due to the fishing (which we didn’t mind but heard other guest complaining about).The pool bar, which I found to be very pretty and in my opinion has great potential for a hang out spot, was mainly unoccupied and therefore not really used. A little bit of music and always staff at service could do wonders.

Very clean hotel, comfy bed, good air con, excellent staff, even the manager gave personal attention. Breakfast was good and there are two good restaurants just a couple minutes walk away. Two tiered pool and beautiful view of the ocean from the room balcony. There are a lot of stairs as mentioned in other posts but I was able to manage ok with my old legs. I didn't want to leave.

At the start of our Bali trip we booked a couple nights here. We loved it and extended a few more nights. Then after a couple weeks exploring Lombok we came back here because we loved it so much. The location is perfect, on a nice beach with easy swim access to a beautiful coral garden. We easily swam west 400 meters to snorkel the Japanese shipwreck. The double decker infinity pool looking over the sea is wonderful. You can order snacks and cocktails to enjoy by the pool. The breezy dining deck is perfect for breakfast. For dinners, there are excellent restaurant and warung options easy walking distance from the hotel. The rooms were comfortable with a nice balcony, good AC and soft beds. Staff here are wonderful. Special thanks to Putu, Wayan and Diyu for excellent service.

Be aware that the rooms do not come with a mini refrigerator, however we were told they are available on request.

We stayed at this hotel several times before the renovation, and I can say that the rooms are now cozier and cleaner. Overall, everything is great: the breakfasts are decent, the beach is clean and private, and there are two good cafes nearby.

There are no dental kits in the bathroom (but you can ask for it at the front desk). Sometimes the air conditioner didn’t cool the room properly, since it’s installed above the entrance door in the hallway.

The staff at the hotel was top notch, and I appreciate the check in policy. If you ask to check in early, rather than the typical "if a room is available...", the answer is YES. " If you can't get into your room right away, you can change clothes and go snorkeling" until it's ready. A much more positive response.

The reef in front is good snorkeling, this area of Amed is more peaceful than in town, and the staff is wo derful. Unfortunately, the property itself is lacking. Rooms are quite small and bog standard basic

The view from the balcony is facing the sea. You get the sunrise right before you.The beach is empty and great little bay.The staff are nice and friendly. The room was a good size for twin beds. The bathroom was a good size too.

Room was exactly as described on Booking.comThe view was awesome, especially for the sunrise. The balcony had a sea view but also overlooking the infinity pool down below. The staff were fantastic and even went out of their way to help me.

The location isn’t brilliant and transport is definitely required to reach the centre of Amed. That said, scooters are readily available for hire from various local sources. The road leading upto Amed Dream is quite poor, many potholes though of no fault to the hotel. Just a caution when hiring scooters.

Advertised as in Amed but very far from actual Amed area. Nothing within walking distance. We were 20 minutes by car from the center of Amed were everything happens and you can walk around. This hotel is actually in Ibis which is why they call it the Ibis Beach Club. stickling 'Amed' in the title does not make its location in Amed. The rooms were old and hadn't been updated in at least 10 years. Our room was on the first floor so we were able to walk right out to the pool area. Unfortunately we discovered after our first night that the outside sliding door had no key lock, just a simple knob you can turn to unlock the door, meaning nothing in our room was really secure. There was no in room lock box so we didn't have that option either. The restaurant food was also quite expensive, but we went to the Warung next door and had a fantastic meal of fresh Mahi-Mahi. I would not stay there again.
