Puri Wirata Dive Resort and Spa

Great location overlooking the ocean . Felt very relaxed . We booked 2 one bedroom apartments which gave us extra space . The 20 year olds had separate accommodation , we were close to each other . 2 pools you can use which everyone uses and found plenty of sun beds to relax by the pool . If you are here for diving .. plus learning to dive they do well at this

Great if you are here for diving , when asked about snorkeling ( as we were a group of 7 ) 3 of us were snorkeling .. only basic information given by the resort they were not really interested. We found people who took you out on boats at the ocean side of the resort , they were great , not part of the resort

Beautiful grounds with lovely frangipani and other flowers and landscaping. The pools are right at the shoreline so you are on the sea. Be sure you can walk down and up a steep hill or stairs unless you just plan to stay at the resort itself. Getting to the store, other restaurants etc was not pleasant because of construction and the roads are not great. However, there are wonderful restaurants a short walk or taxi away and the hotel restaurant is very good too. We loved breakfast, smoothies, and dinner there. Our room was lovely, spacious, modern and very clean with a beautiful ocean view. I went to a nearby spa and it was great but I never tried to onsite one but I heard it was good too. The Balinese people are quite lovely at this hotel and everywhere we went around the island. We had a lovely time.

The location is unparalleled in Amed, right on the beach. It has 2 small pools but they are enough. You can snorkel/scuba from shore, as well as use the services of the onsite dive center (amazingly nice crew). Food is very very decent, and very affordable.

It’s 22 years old and shows it. Ants in the rooms, random stains here and there, wobbly doors. However this is what one would expect in an older beach chalet, so it’s not so bad.

I liked the location.Beach front resort is what I really wanted.You can swim just in front of the hotel. Take with you snorkeling equipment and coral shoes.The sea here is very calm. We saw different fish.

Diving Centre is very convenient if you are coming for diving activities. You can easily access the beachfront to do some simple snorkeling activities (rent equipment from dive centre). Really good and engaging guide *Laurent* who taught us the basics of diving and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the packages provided by the dive centre.

Insects within the place of stay. Expected due to the environment but sometimes gets excessive.

Very comfortable and nice. Associated dive center staff were great, guide was an exceptional critter finder. Good snorkeling right out front. Nice selection and quality for meals. Our favorite lodging on Bali!

nice, view. well maintained. the staff was super friendly, attentive and they tried hard to please each guest. very nice massage rooms with sea view, breakfast was good, but i am also not super demanding to for breakfast.

staff was super attentive but partially also junior, they struggled to understand guest needs. especially when we ordered our dinner, both times i mentioned dont want to get starters and main at the same time, somehow it was just not working out. I would have wished there would be a manager/senior with more experience who can manage such challenges better. Throughout my staff I didnt had a feeling there was manager or owner who is charge. All in all, this is not something which really impacted a lot my positive experience, this is just what was missing to give an over 9 rating.

The hotel is close to the scuba diving, the food is local and very tasty. I spent three nights, and unfortunately it was always raining, so I have taken the chance to visit the spa which I highly recommend, most of all the facial skin care.

Amazing place for snorkling and diving. Relaxed atmosphere, great food and nice facilities. Some nice restaurants and you can go a short walk to the neighboring beach if you want more restaurants etc. We did some amazing diving and snorkling just off the beach.

I collect experience, pictures were accurate, some walking involved to tech local establishments, we rented a scooter and had zero issues getting around

Not much, the place meet all our expectations

Perfect for snorkeling and good food although the price for drinks and food is above average.Step in to the ocean and we spotted see turtles right away and that was not only once. Room is very big and airco in the bedroom is enough.

Price wise ok and appartement little bit older but very ok.BUT, it is not that difficult to keep things clean, if they would Just do the extra work to keep things clean it would be a 10 out of 10. So it is an 8.

Great value for money. Food was generally great. Location right on the water. room was spacious with a lovely view. Enjoyed the onsite Spa as well.

Facilities are older and a little tired, but the grounds are kept clean and tidy. The food was great value but hit and miss, we had 2 exceptional meals, and 2 not so great. The breakfast is really good value.

The breskfast was very good except I didn't like the packed breskfast on our last morning as we left at 5am

We loved our stay at puri. The nice and spacious rooms, amazing chill area with view of the sea and lovely staff made our stay amazing. It was one of our favourite places to stay in Bali. The restaurant offer incredible food (and we can be picky) we loved everything on the menu and breakfast is super extensive every morning. Also the restaurant staff was nice and helpful, especially (i forgot her name) the lady who had a 7 month old daughter the same age as my son (born only 10 days apart in august ) she was so sweet for us and also to our son helping us out whit everything he needed, so extra big thanks to her for this. We wont forget.

We liked everything

View and pool. Great people, nice communication, very good cuisine. The hotel is on the oceanfront. Just one step and you open up a wonderful coral world full of life: fish and turtles. I recommend this hotel to those who are interested in diving or snorkeling.

Excellent service, staff are super friendly & helpful, very attentive to needs. Location idyllic, rooms sufficient & clean. Restaurant & bar cannot be faulted ! Had amazing food & great cocktails.

We had a bungalow with a view of the pool, ocean and palm trees. Just beautiful. Lovely huge room with a big comfortable bed with a couch and tv area and another single bed if needed. Big windows with curtains you could open up and see our beautiful views. As the property started from the road and went down to the water, I loved our bungalow being near the water, 2 pools, day spa and restaurant. Beautiful food. Other accommodation was available on the steeper part of the property which was fine. Snorkelling straight out the front which was very handy.
