Fivelements Ubud

Our villa with private pool was beautiful! The restaurant was exceptional, with large healthy servings and a great variety of predominantly plant based food. The treatments at the day spa were excellent. The resort is so secluded, you feel a long way away from the busy roads of SE Asia. All the staff were friendly, polite and went above and beyond to assist us where they could.

Bear in mind the resort is in quite an untouched location, and the wildlife that lives there will live with you too!

When the word retreat has a real meaning. You want to disconnect, here is the place.

Location not great as Ubud area is not really near. Also if you are not into vegetarian food you will be looking for restaurants or delivery.

The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The property is absolutely gorgeous and creates a very zen feeling. Finally, although we are not vegan, the vegan food is simply amazing!!!

At the time of our stay, the pool was closed for maintenance, which was a little disappointing, but not enough to ruin our stay. ?

The check-in and the whole stay were excellent. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, a great introduction to Bali. Rooms are very good, and the whole hotel is very clean.

Some of the evening meals are a bit strange (but OK), and more annoyingly, not many hot meals. I tended to eat out where possible. However, breakfast was excellent, and the lunch selection was good. Please note that Vegetarian meals only.

Breathtaking. I had a pleasant stay. Everything was Beyond 10/10 ! Food was amazing and staff/Service was exceptional. They take care of your food allergies, your preferences in food and in everything else! They’re very helpful while staying and even in other things like to help you with your delayed luggage ! Definitely coming back again to stay longer.

That it ended. I definitely needed more days.

Amazing suit, delicious fresh plant-based food, authentic spa treatments and rituals done by locals, calming and relaxing atmosphere throughout, friendly and respectful staff, clean and beautiful.What else could you ask for?There's really nothing negative or even neutral about this place in my opinion.If like us you wish to go to Bali for a tranquil retreat where you'll slow down from your busy day-to-day, then this one is a gem!

Nothing really

On the river. Tropical. Very sustainable feel to it. Comfortable.

A bit isolated — could use more free shuttle service. Take note: ALL FOOD AT THIS RESORT IS PLANT-BASED. No meat, fish or dairy. The restaurant did a fine job in preparing plant-based cuisine, but i think this aspect should be noted on websites more prominently. It came to us as quite a surprise.

The stay was beautiful, the hotell lies just by the river in the jungle, with calm sounds of the river, birds and animallife. Very peaceful. Every morning there’s morning yoga at 8:00, before a vegan set menu breakfast. The staff are so polite and makes sure that you have the best possible stay. We tried both healing and massasge at the spa, and ecpesially enjoyed the sakti ritual massasge. The room was very beautiful and tidy, with an outdoor bathroom!! All in all a much reccomended stay.

There wasn’t a minibar at the rooms, so the water was warm. But you could Ask for one if you wanted to and we didn’t. And our room, Avcasa, was close to a pond which Made it smell a little in our room. The toilet was outside. The entire bathroom was. It was Nice, but also a bit idk

The spa services were outstanding! The food was healthy and delicious! and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Top notch spa services! Highly recommend this sustainable, beautiful and tranquil retreat center!

The only thing I didn't like was that my stay was too short! Had I known, I would have booked a longer stay!

We love the setting, the nature surrounding every space, and the architecture. The breakfast was divinely prepared with local and organic products. The spa setting is also magic right by the river that runs along the property.

All was perfect!

Best hotel with the best service ever! They even gave a personalised letter and delicious vegan snacks for return customers ❤️ I will always stay here when I come back to Bali

Peaceful and super staff.

Mosquitoes. You should consider hanging mosquito nets around the restaurant during the mosquito season to make the dining experience more enjoyable for your guests.

Everything! All the staff are so nice and friendly, they remember my name, even when I haven’t met them personal. They greet me by my first name! I also met the GM John and he is really kind too. I spent only two nights at the resort and didn’t even leave the resort ground to ubud centre!

Nothing really! Apart from maybe for breakfast bread provided was the healthy version! But I actually prefer the usual bread ? Also the shuttle could be provided more frequently but it’s ok in the end as I didn’t even end up venturing out to ubud centre since it was raining all the time during my stay.

It’s vegan. On the river so located in a scenic place. Staff tries very hard to satisfy.

Too far from the city. So can’t go anywhere easily.Food taste is average. Breakfast has Less options and very limited choices. And gets repetitive.Not accessible especially for seniors citizens.Lots of mosquitoes and bug bites. Rooms aren’t cleaned properly by staff.Bathrooms of some rooms are badly planned.

Thank you, Fivelement staff. Everything was beyond good. This place should be renamed to Heaven. You will dive into kindness, spirituality, nature, health. Honestly, don't think twice, just do it, says someone who is picky. I will go back one day. Remember not to skip the complimentary yoga sessions every morning before breakfast.

The 5 course plant based dinner is very healthy and delicious but if you decide to eat at the hotel every evening, then some variety could be helpful (The breakfast and lunch menus change/have verities which is great.) That said I recommend eating there dinner one night (A MUST)) and then go explore Ubud: restaurants and dance shows, etc. Remember to download grab or gojek apps (uber-like apps).

Absolutely beautiful. incredibly attentive kind staff. Fabulous spa and well facilities. Food was incredible !

Everything was perfect! The room, staff, cleanliness, facilities, spa and the grounds in general. Loved the location due to being away from any busyness. Special mention to the restaurant, the food everyday and every meal was next level.

totally disappointing. never ever again.

1) first, it was in the middle of nowhere, even Ubud centre is 30min drive. 2) facility is nice if you love living with lizards, spiders and ants in the same room! and management claims due tropical weather its “normal!” them to be found anywhere.3) after had a crisis with a gecko in our room in the first night, we wanted to checkout and requested refund but hotel never did anything about it. 4) all room rooftop has huge gaps with ceiligs, so any animal can go inside; including snakes, one girl at spa also confessed snake encounters happened in rooms before.5) we had problem with hot water during our stay. everytime we called lobi, they fixed it and hot water got ready after 30minutes!!! unbelievable.so do not pay anything in advance, and do not go there ever. hotel has nothing related with the pictures…

an incredible location at the heart of Ubud jungle area. the yoga studio is absolutely stunning with daily yoga sessions. beautiful food. there is also an amazing menu of wellness and healing treatments.

traffic around Ubud area is very bad so journeys into Ubud can take a while. the free shuttle service was very welcome though.
